Gozo-ø guidet dagstur fra Malta

Beskrivelse

The boat trip in Diwari was something unexpected it- if I had known the sea was so rough I would not have gone because I get seasick guests must be informed properly in advance and be advised of an alternative. The included meal was mediocre . Our guide was good and Vitoria and the Citadella were great as was the archeological site at Girganti . More archeology better food otherwise don’t include it why not local delicacies or even tasty snack food . A good overview of Gozo
Pick up went well ,but once we got to the ferry it was chaotic to say the least. The allocated rep we felt did.not engage with her audience and throughout the whole trip we.felt herded like cattle. The food provided was very poor.and there was.no provision for vegetarian. Also wine was.provided.however we didn't know what we were drinking as this was decanted into unlabelled bottle. Water was.not provided and.had to.be paid.for (4 euros) which based on cost.of trip not fair on non drinkers. We would not recommend trip to others.
Pretty average English speaking tour. Some queuing and waiting for the ferry both ways but not too bad. Trip stops on Gozo - two out of the four were interesting: Victoria (Rabat) and the Ggantija temples were worthwhile and the lunch was meh. Our guide Celine was very knowledgeable and had a lot of good info to share. The bus driver Chris deserves a medal for negotiating the Gozo roads without incident.
The guude was knowledgeable and excellent. the lunch could have been better. I would have preferred to pay for my own lunch and not included.
brilliant day tour of wonderful island ,made special by our our guide whose knowledge and personality shone through. thursday april 24th 2025. Brian and family.
We leave the Cirkewwa dock at the westernmost point of the island. Traveling 25 minutes by ferry to the port in Mgarr, the main port of Gozo. On the shore you can see comino, another island of the archipelago of Malta, (which we did not visit) where only a small community with less than thirty inhabitants lives. Arrival to the island of Gozo, the second most important island of the archipelago, known for its natural landscapes with a rural charm, historical heritage and megalithic temples. The beauty of the island is so, they say it will have been this beauty, to inspire Homer, and describe in his work Odyssey, as his nymph Calipso, will have retained Ulysses for seven years, seducing him on this paradise island.
Very interesting island. A bit of queuing to get on the ferry at both ends of the tour. Tour leader a bit hard to understand sometimes.
Well organised, there was a separate transfer from Valletta for a few of us and the tour started at the ferry. Due to the nature of the route and locations, we did spend quite a lot of time travelling on the bus and I wish we had at least some free time to explore on our own in some of the sites. Our guide Tracey was amazing - very very kind and attentive, super knowledgeable and truly tried to connect with people from the group.
Tour (CIVITATIS provided by Maltarama) well organized with guides for different languages. The time lost due to traffic inconveniences has been largely recovered. The guide in Italian (Bernadette) gave a historical and architectural perspective on Gozo and beyond. It also exhausts the sociological aspects. The places visited are wonders not to be missed, of course, if you are guided you will understand them better. Lunch is acceptable. Advised ..
The trip was great value and well led by Olivia who had to cope with us losing an hour due to a ferry issue. She was friendly, efficient and very knowledgeable.
