Golden Triangle Private Tour (Sintra og Cascais), fra Lissabon

Excellent experience for our entire family. Our tour guide was incredible and the best one we have ever had. We saw so much in one day.

Myself, spouse and 2 kids (12 and 9) - everyone really enjoyed. Fantastic guide. Well-paced itinerary. Would highly recommend.

We were picked up at the end of our cruise by Vasco for our day-long tour. He was on-time and solicitous with our luggage which he stowed and camouflaged under blankets. After that, it was all systems go! We got so much out of our tour, which started when we left the port and ended about 9 hours later at the hotel. Vasco was extremely knowledgeable about his country's history and geography and explained it all very well in perfect English. Highlights of the tour were, of course Sintra and Cascais, where we were treated to a delicious lunch in a local market. The coastline there is amazing and we did get to visit the westernmost point of mainland Europe. Vasco gave us a comprehensive description of the country's cork industry and took us to a different market where we were able to fill up on cork souvenirs. All in all, an amazing day with a wonderful guide. Highly recommend

We spend 10 amazing days and 4 private tours in Portugal with Portugal Magik tours and this tour company is hands down the way to go…as their tour guides are, no doubt, the best in the business. We’ve travelled the world and have never had such an experience as we had with Joao (John) and Francisco. 1) Our first tour, which was a private tour of Lisbon, began when we arrived at 6am. Our airbnb’s checkin was at 3pm so this was a perfect way to get our bearings (and acclimate to a new time zone!) John took us to the best sights to see the sunrise, drove us to all the great parts of the city, selected great places for breakfast and lunch, and had us to our apartment in time for checkin. The vehicles are all new Mercedes btw, and very comfortable to say the least. John couldn’t have been more knowledgeable or personable. Truly a perfect way to start our stay in Lisbon. 2). Our second tour was the Golden triangle tour with John as our tour guide. His knowledge of Sintra, Cascais and Cabo were amazing. He made everything interesting and customized his delivery to our speed and areas of interest. A perfect day! 3). We transferred to Porto with John as our guide, and made numerous stops at beautiful cities on the way. Sure…trains are great here… but this is on an other level as John stopped whenever and wherever we wanted and explained everything about where we were. Btw….trains are sometimes on strike here so check this out before committing to the trains. 4). We transferred again back to Lisbon for our return flight with Francisco as our guide. Like John, he picked us up promptly at our apartment and took us to numerous cities on the way back to Lisbon. Francisco was extremely knowledgeable and wonderful my personable. Arrived to the airport safe and sound on time and couldn’t have had a better last day! All in all both John and Francisco were the best tour guides we’ve ever had. They customize their delivery to your needs and have an encyclopedic knowledge of everything in Portugal. They also speak perfect English by the way. Lot’s of choices out there, but in our experience, you can’t go wrong with John and Francisco with Magik tours. They made all the difference.

It was an amazing tour such beautiful no places. Our Tour guide Rui was very professional, friendly, kind , very knowledgeable. He suggested a great seafood restaurant in Cascais that we all loved. Everything was planned perfectly. This company is great from beginning off booking to the very end of the tour.

Our 3 hour tour of Lisbon following an overnight flight was just what we needed. Our tour guide Joao was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and the sites we visited. The tour provided us a great layout of the city and the suggestions for sightseeing, dining etc was super helpful. Would highly suggest this to other travelers coming to Lisbon for the first time.

Miguel of Portugal Magik took us on three tours: 1) Airport Arrival with introduction to Lisbon, 2) Sintra and Capo do Roca, 3)transfer to Porto with a stop in Fatima. Each trip was absolutely incredible. Miguel was prompt, knowledgeable, energetic, thorough and truly a pleasure to spend hours with. Along with his engaging personality, he was also a safe and responsible driver and very interesting and informed conversationist and listener. When he realized my husband loved to cook he helped him find a special traditional dish for grilling chorizo and coached him in the unique cooking technique involved! This is just one example of Miguel’s dedication. We can’t say enough about Miquel! He is an exceptional ambassador for Portugal! We will highly recommend him to our friends and family!
