Gobustan Rock Art & Mud Volcanoes Tour

Excellent tour company, extremely organized and professional. Our guide Tahir was exceptionally knowledgeable and shared more than just the petroglyph and mud volcanoes. He gave us a true glimpse in the life of Azerbaijanis. We had an absolutely amazing day. Thanks to Fuad, Tahir and driver Amir.

We had an amazing time exploring Gobustan and the mud volcanoes in Azerbaijan. The ancient rock carvings in Gobustan were fascinating, and the guide, Tahir, did a great job explaining their history. Visiting the mud volcanoes was a unique and fun experience – totally different from anything we've seen before.

I booked a private mud volcanoes/Gobustsn tour and I was picked up/dropped off at the airport. Being just myself, the guide was able to customize it to what I liked. Chinara is amazing, with all the historical information up to modern day events, all stored in her head! Our driver, Adil, was awesome! He drives like I do! ! Seeing the ancient petroglyphs along with the bubbling mud volcanoes was so interesting! The landscape made me feel like I was on the moon! Excellent Tour, highly recommended!

Great tour, the guide was very friendly and had an enthusiasm for the local area. I was expecting a bit more from the mud volcanos themselves considering they are considered a notable landmark, they weren't that impressive but the museum and petroglyphs also on the tour were fascinating. We only had 36 hours in the country on transit, so if you only have a short time here then this is a great way to spend half a day!

A great way to spend half the day by visiting the ancient archaeological sites of the ghobustan plane. It was really interesting to see the sights and the places that were once used by ancient people. My tour guide Naira was soo helpful by explaining each and every thing on the tour. Had a great day trip was much better going private than a group. Mud mountains def worth visiting & the guide was very nice & friendly & took me to the flame towers on the way home as I hadn’t been. Fairly expensive but wouldn’t be for a family/group.

Great Day trip from Baku as part of our visit to Azerbaijan. We were taken by Elcin and Nazir. The tour started at Fire Temple and Fire Mountain and then we headed to Gobustan along with a visit at Gobustan museum. Elcin is very knowledgeable about all the sites and we learned a lot. A must-have experience! Highly recommended if you are visiting Azerbaijan.

The tour was amazing covering sightseeing spots outside of the city. The tour guide, Faud was very caring and made sure that we were having a great time. He welcomed any questions and answered to questions throughly. Highly recommend this tour!

This was the second tour we did and it was very interesting to see the area outside of Bakuy can highly recommend this if you have time. Our tour guide Fuad is very cool.
