Gobustan og Absheron Private Tour

If you are visiting Baku, you must take this tour. We had an absolutely incredible private tour to Gobustan and the Absheron Peninsula. Our guide, Sarvan, was exceptional—his deep knowledge of Azerbaijan’s history and culture really brought every site to life. We started at Gobustan, where we learned about the ancient petroglyphs, followed by the surreal experience of the mud volcanoes. We also visited the 'Fire Points' of Absheron, including the Fire Temple and Yanar Dag. Seeing the natural flames while hearing Sarvan’s stories about the land's Zoroastrian roots was a highlight of our trip. If you’re looking for a professional, knowledgeable, and friendly guide in Azerbaijan, I cannot recommend Sarvan highly enough. This tour is a perfect choice for anyone wanting to see the best of the region in a private, well-organized setting!

Ali organized everything very well for you. He speaks English very well, which is rare in Azerbaijan. I will definitely come back.

This was an incredible day trip. The Gobustan Rock Art and mud volcanoes are surreal and definitely something you won’t find anywhere else. It felt like stepping into another world! Absheron’s historical sites were fascinating too, and the tour guide did a great job of making everything feel exciting and engaging. It was a good mix of nature, history, and culture, and it’s only about a 40-minute drive from Baku, so it’s perfect for a half-day or full-day trip. Definitely recommended!

The Gobustan and Absheron Tour was awesome! The mud volcanoes and petroglyphs in Gobustan were super cool, and the Fire Temple was a unique experience. Ali made the whole day enjoyable with his knowledge and humor.

It was an interesting trip and our guide Ramiz was quite knowledgeable and explained in details about the places like Gobustan, Ateshgah, Yanardag etc. This day we saw nice places and learnt about the history of the places we visited. The lunch was good too. Our guide, an educated young man, is a decent person, softspoken and respectful. There's no lack of knowledge or historical details. Only one suggestion is, he should wait for all the members of the team to assemble before starting to explain. Thank you for your service. We are all quite satisfied and pleased.

This is our 2nd day tour and it was again well organized, full of information. We had the chance to learn and experience natural beauties in Baku and amazing history of Baku in a short time. We wished we had more days to visit the rest of amazing country with Ali and Nurlan.
