Begynd din dag med at møde din venlige guide i Queenstown Town Centre. Startende med en spektakulær naturskøn køretur fra Queenstown til Glenorchy langs søkanten, med naturskønne fotospots og underholdende historier fra din lokale guide om Lake Whakatipu og dens legender.
Mens vi rejser langs denne utrolige køretur, stopper vi og nyder den fantastiske udsigt fra Bennett's Bluff. Herfra kan du få dit første glimt af Glenorchy og Mount Aspiring National Park, der sidder bag den.
Glenorchy township er hjemsted for ca. 400 fastboende og porten til Paradise Valley og Mt Aspiring National Park. Når vi ankommer til denne maleriske landby, har du chancen for at udforske den maleriske søbred, inklusive det ikoniske røde bådskur.
Fra Glenorchy slutter vi os til en grusvej, en ensrettet vej ind i nationalparken. Glenorchy-Paradise Road rejser forbi rigt landbrugsland, gennem indfødte bøgeskove og på tværs af flodsenge. Ikke mange lever op i denne retning, hvor dens mest berømte beboere er de mystiske karakterer fra LOTR og andre film, tv-serier og reklamer.

Tour was nice. Our guide was superb. Caleb. He made the tour worthwhile although glenorchy is not worth going compared to Milford sounds

Shanay is amazing and very friendly. She shares a lot of great local knowledge, from flora and fauna to Mauri knowledge to popular shooting locations. Great views and comfort food picnic.

Ash was our guide. He is a knowledgeable guide. We went to Glenorchy and stopped for a short walk along the way to enjoy the view and to take some photos. We had a picnic lunch in Paradise, we were provided with some cheese toast, fruit and even ginger desert. It was a pleasant and sunny day.
