Visited here as part of out My Cruises trip called Scenic China . I’m not good at heights or see though things but I found this great and lots to do there if you are a daredevil

Kelly is an amazing tour coordinator. She helped me coordinate drivers, tickets, shows, tours, everything I needed for my stay in Zhangjiajie. She was always available and promptly answered any questions I had. She always provided all the information I needed to make our trip go smoothly. I highly recommend Kelly.

Chris is a phenomenal tour guide who consistently went above and beyond to make our time in Zhangjiajie and Furong Ancient Town an unforgettable experience. Chris was our personal tour guide for 3 days and we travelled as a family of 5, which included seniors in our group. Without Chris’ extensive knowledge and expertise, we would not have been able to book everything ourselves. Chris was very enthusiastic and loved sharing his knowledge of Zhangjiajie and Chinese history and culture. He led us to the best viewpoints of the famous mountains, including less crowded areas that still offered stunning scenery. Although the rocky and uneven terrain in Zhangjiajie was challenging to navigate, especially for seniors with mobility issues, Chris adjusted the tour to suit our interests while taking into consideration our physical limitations. He also made adjustments to our itinerary based on weather conditions to ensure that we could make the most of our time in Zhangjiajie. Despite the severe storm on the day we visited Heaven’s Gate, Chris ensured that we still enjoyed many fun activities and had a rewarding day. Chris spoke fluent English and was approachable whenever we had questions or concerns. He acted as our interpreter during interactions with local residents and provided translations of descriptions that were only written in Chinese. We did not have to worry about transport or attraction tickets, as Chris handled everything. A selfie stick wasn't needed, as Chris often took numerous high-quality professional photos of our entire family and sent them to us via WeChat. Despite the large crowd of tourists at the sightseeing spots, Chris made sure that the photos mainly focused on us and the scenery. The photos continue to remind us of our wonderful time in Zhangjiajie, mainly due to Chris and his perfect skills in organisation, execution, and adaptability. Chris was also very accessible and answered our follow-up questions even after our tour was finished. He even helped us with our luggage during the tour, which was very much appreciated. We fully recommend Chris as a tour guide for Zhangjiajie, and we are sure he will deliver the same level of dedication and quality to any other group he guides.

Really enjoyed the two-day tour here in Zhangjiajie! Initially got in touch with Chris through a review on Lemon8, and he helped us to plan the itinerary well, taking into account the activities we would like to go for. Chris could not make it last minute, so Sunny came to help with the tour. Very friendly and knowledgeable guide, and took really good photos too. Really glad we got this tour as it would have been really difficult to navigate this whole journey, and they made this experience a smooth one. Highly recommend :)

A wonderful experience exploring the Avatar mountains, walking on the glass bridge with zip line and slide, insane views, and we got to walk up the 999 steps of Tianmen (Heavenly Gate). We learned a lot about the area, regional ethnic groups, dishes, customs, and interesting tales thanks to our excellent tour guide Murphy. Murphy spoke great English and was able to answer all of our questions, and he knew the locations very well. When one glass platform queue was too busy, he took us to another one that there were no signs for, therefore way fewer tourists! Chen (our driver) was always perfectly on time as soon as we had to drive from destination to destination, and was a  careful driver, who put water bottles in the car for us. We highly recommend this tour to anyone interested, there's a lot to see in this area!

Listen to Sam tell me about the sourandings was so fasination i learn so much of both culture and the places i did see and at the same time he get me to the best spoot to take photo. Chris was an amazing tour guide for us. He helped us plan out a two day itinerary for Zhangjiajie, booked all our tickets, and even though he wasn’t available the second day, he set us up with his colleague and made sure we were taken care of! He expertly planned around the weather and switched our itineraries to ensure we had the best viewing experience on the avatar mountain. He also took lots of amazing pictures for us, knew all the best angles and viewing spots, and shortcuts. You can tell he is really a veteran of the industry and the area. Would highly recommend booking Chris for a tour. You will definitely be in amazing hands!!

I loved the sight seeings, though the weather was not a good factor, drizzling and cloudy and could not appreciate the mountains. Beautiful mountains. I was not happy with the guide tourist. She was very quiet, not engaging, I had to asked her questions about the seeings other wise she wit not take the initiative to share about the history or geographical area. She would give us brief answers or said she did not know. She was on her phone, texting, and rarely present with us. I felt she was just another person who was traveling with us. Very disappointed, because we paid for a private tour to get the most of it and was not worth it. I would not recommend her for other people. She was nice and kind, but nothing more. She did took some pictures because we asked her to do so. I will contact Viator for this particular guide tourist.

We had an amazing holiday in Feng Huang & Furong Ancient Towns & Zhang Jia Jie, thanks to Chris’ excellent services. Chris was very patient & prompt in answering all my questions relating to our private tour during the planning phase. During the tour, he took very good care of us & ensured we were always safe, helping us to navigate the challenging steps in the famous sites. Chris spoke well in English & shared interesting historical knowledge relating to the sights we visited. Chris was also able to get us better hotel rates for the 4/5 star hotels. We enjoyed the yummy local meals recommended by Chris and his driver drove well & safely.
