Giza-pyramiderne - Sphinx & Saqqara & Memphis

We had an amazing experience visiting the Giza Pyramids, the Sphinx, Saqqara, and Memphis. Our tour guide and driver were both incredibly kind, professional, and attentive from beginning to end. They picked us up from our accommodation, took us to a beautiful breakfast spot with stunning views of the pyramids and the Sphinx, and then guided us through all the archaeological sites. What made the experience truly special was the knowledge our guide shared with us throughout the tour. Visiting these places with a professional guide makes a huge difference because you are able to truly understand the history, meaning, and importance behind everything you are seeing. It transforms the experience from simple tourism into something much more meaningful and educational. We highly recommend supporting local guides and organized tourism. Their work adds so much value to the experience and helps preserve and share Egypt’s incredible history with visitors from around the world.

We had an incredible experience with our private guide, Ahmed. He was extremely knowledgeable and did a fantastic job explaining the history and significance of each site we visited. From the moment we met him, he made us feel comfortable and at ease while navigating the major attractions. His professionalism, friendliness, and passion for Egyptian history truly enhanced our experience. We highly recommend Ahmed to anyone visiting the pyramids and surrounding sites!

A guided tour of the pyramids of Giza, Saqqara and Memphis is a must for all travelers visiting Egypt for the first time. I am very grateful that I booked this tour with Alexander Travel and their Greek speaking guide Ahmed. Communication with the agency was smooth, easy and straightforward. Everything went as described in our communication. Ahmed, our Greek speaking guide surprised us with his deep knowledge of Egyptian history, his love and appreciation of the monuments and made the most out of our itinerary. We enjoyed our tour and learned a lot about Egyptian civilization. I will definitely recommend the agency and Ahmed to my friends visiting Egypt in the future.

Such a great lifetime experience, and I can see why Sofia is constantly praised by visitors. She provided great information, was attentive and patient, and was altogether wonderful. Thank you so much, and I will definitely be recommending this to anyone I know heading this way.

We had an amazing time with Mohamed Saleh. Both him and the driver were patient and gave us a great time. Mohamed is a wealth of knowledge. He patiently explained everything to us and he is a great photographer!! Definitely recommend him!

Great experience in Giza with Mohamed. Really enjoyed how much details he had on each site and his explanations were really great. Overall a fantastic trip.

Thoroughly enjoyable tour with Sophia! She is an Egyptologist and tour guide, and her enthusiasm and knowledge of Egyptian history that she shared with us made this day memorable and exciting. The tour was as advertised, and we covered A LOT of ground. Sophia tailored our tour to what we wanted to see and learn about, which was an unexpected treat. Our driver, Mahmoud, was a genuinely nice person and terrific driver. He took routes away from the highways, allowing us to extend our tour into and out of Cairo. The pyramids and Giza are a truly special place for humankind, and Sophia was an amazing guide through this journey in time. Shukran Sophia and Mahmoud!!
