Nick was an excellent guide! He was engaging as well as highly knowledgeable about Belgian chocolate and Ghent history. He arranged a variety of chocolate styles and flavors creating a tour that provided something for everyone. We received a plethora of bonus info on “Belgian fries” (not French) and the best place to eat them, the local “steak,” and the historical competence of the Belgian army. We were very delighted with this tour!

My guide Nick was very friendly and knowledgeable! The tour itself was great and the chocolate was amazing each stop on the route better than the last. Nick mixed in history of the city on our walks between stops and even recommended if we have time to go into St. Bavo's Cathedral to do to VR tour of the painting of the Mystic Lamb which was not on my itinerary for my day trip but I was able to squeeze it in and it was an amazing recommendation.

The chocolate walking tour in Ghent was truly a great experience! Our guide (Tom) was top-notch – super friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and very attentive to our group. I was particularly pleasantly surprised by the chocolates: I probably never would have chosen some of them myself, but they were really delicious! 😋

Valerie’s chocolate tour was such a fun and delicious way to experience Ghent! She was warm, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about both her city and its chocolate. Extra kudos to her and Charlie Tours for braving Belgium’s hottest day of the year on record with us… all for the sake of chocolate! Despite the extraordinary heat, Valerie kept the experience engaging, informative, and wonderfully sweet. A memorable afternoon in Ghent!

Nick was superb! He had lots of nuggets of interesting info about the city. He was very thoughtful about my vegan friend. The chocolates were divine and so different! I would highly recommend.

I went on this walking tour with my family. We enjoyed it so much. We explored and tasted a variety of chocolates. We learned the history of some of the places. What I loved the most was the tastings. The combination of flavors was awesome. Afterwards I went back to one to purchase some. Best of all our guide was awesome.

We had an excellent experience. Nick took our family on our tour of Belgium, answering questions along the way and keeping things light and entertaining. We got to taste a variety of chocolates and candies throughout, from the very traditional and chain-store variety to locally hand made and eclectic. I’d 100% recommend this tour to anyone looking to experience both the city and its treats. It won’t disappoint.
