Udsigtspunkter fra Colca Canyon

Denne tur anbefales til turister, der besøger Cabanaconde. Denne tur varer to timer og kan gennemføres om morgenen, inden vandreturene til kløften starter. Denne tur anbefales for ikke at gå glip af de vigtigste udsigtspunkter over Colca Canyon. På denne tur kan turister nyde udsigtspunktet Cruz del Cóndor og dets unikke geografi, samt værdsætte kondorens majestætiske flyvefærd. Andeskondorer kan veje op til 12 kg og måle mere end 3 meter i bredden. Du kan også nyde Tapay-udsigtspunktet, et rigtig godt sted at nyde udsigten over kløften; dette udsigtspunkt er meget smukt og sjældent besøgt. Udsigtspunktet Cruz Del Cóndor er kendt som det bedste sted i Sydamerika at se kondorer.

Vi ankommer til udsigtspunktet Cruz Del Cóndor klokken 7:30 om morgenen. Her stopper vi i mellem 40 minutter og 1 time for at nyde den smukke udsigt over Colca Canyon og kondorens majestætiske flyvetur. De kan tage en kort gåtur langs kløftens kant, så de kan tage smukke billeder.
Vi ankommer til Tapay-udsigtspunktet cirka kl. 8:20 om morgenen. Her gør vi et 15-minutters stop for at nyde dette smukke udsigtspunkt, som giver os mulighed for at se kløftens dybder og de små byer, der ligger dybt inde i den, såsom Cosñirhua, Malata og Tapay. Vi stopper her i cirka 20 minutter.

Thank you very much to Manfred!! He guided us to Cruz del Condor in his car, and it was an unforgettable experience; I never thought I would see so many condors up close!! He was very attentive and educational; we appreciated his recommendations and advice for the continuation of our adventure in Colca Canyon! We also had a great night at his hotel; I recommend Paraiso Las Palmeras Lodge! We will return soon; )
We did the tour to the mirador to see the condors. Great experience, amazing views, loads of condors and from very close. Well priced too. Manfred was very helpful and gave us lots of information. Cabanaconde is the best base for the canyon too as you are close to the start for the trek, and you can arrive early to the condors when theres more birds and less tourists.
We spent three days at the hotel paradise Palmeiras. We loved the place, the guests are very friendly and helpful, they gave us very good recommendations! We were also offered a quad bike tour that we enjoyed very much. We recommend everyone to visit that place.
Manfred took us to see two canyon lookouts. The views of the canyon were amazing. He explained many very interesting things about Cabanaconde, its inhabitants, customs and current life. He takes his time and is very friendly. He knows the region very well. Your car is spacious and comfortable.
Our guide Manfred was friendly, knowledgeable and punctual. He was able to give us plenty of information about the area and it's history and was flexible in allowing us whatever time we needed to explore each of the viewpoints.
The tour lasted more than 3 hours, our Guide Manfred left us plenty of time to discover these wonderful animals that are condors. A very interesting circuit with fantastic scenery and Manfred knows his country, region and village perfectly! Thanks again Manfred!
Great! Seeing Andean condors was pretty high on my list for the South America trip. After seeing them as silhouettes in the sky before, I wanted to see them a little closer - and this tour is amazing for that! Highly recommended! You don't disturb the animals on the viewing platform if you behave respectfully and they sometimes fly 3 meters above your head. Insider tip: do the tour (e.g. this one) from Cabanaconde, not from Chivay, then you'll be there before the tourist horde and get the best spots for condor watching. Manfred (Peruvian, German name only) is also super relaxed and gives you plenty of time, super good! :)
The tour with Manfred is a great experience! We got to see many condors very close and the views on the colca canyon are beautiful. Manfred also takes you to lesser-known viewpoints where you're not surrounded by crowds. He is super friendly and gives interesting explanation about the canyon and the surrounding villages. We had a great time :)

On flight 1441 on January 31, 2024 from Fuerteventura to Hamburg, I had an unpleasant medical emergency. I received immediate assistance from the entire cabin crew. The flight attendants were extremely professional, careful and very sensitive. During the entire flight, they kept asking me if I needed anything. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you again for your great efforts. Hats off to the entire cabin crew! Always happy to fly with Condor!
