Fordyb med os i fængslende legender fra fortiden, der kan ses overalt i byen, når du kender dem. Forstå hvordan arkitekter som Gaudí blev inspireret af dem og efterlod en varig indvirkning på Barcelona. Hvorfor er der en drage på taget? Hvorfor var en flagermus afgørende i en kamp? Hvor er Bones Hus? Hvad er legenden bag det catalanske flag? Hvordan sættes dette ind i sammenhængen med den nuværende uafhængighedsbevægelse? I løbet af to-timers gangen vil vi forbinde forbindelsen fra middelalderlig catalansk historie og legender til det inspirerede Gaudí og andre arkitekter, når vi designer boligbyggeri langs Grand Boulevard Passeig de Gracia. Fra gadebelægning til lampeindlæg - alt har en historie, som vi vil fortælle dig! Hvis du elsker historien, der er levendegjort af lidenskabelige fortællere, og du vil nyde en lille gruppes intimitet, så er dette din oplevelse. Efter disse to timer vil du opdage detaljer, du ikke har bemærket før. Se byen med forskellige øjne!

Lær alt om historien og facaden af denne vidunderlige bygning designet af Gaudí. Det var hans sidste borgerbygning, før han dedikerede resten af sit liv til opførelsen af kirken Sagrada Familia.
Vi går ned ad Grand Boulevard of Passeig de Gracia. Fra gadebelægning til lampeindlæg - alt har en historie, som vi vil fortælle dig!
Helt sikkert et af Gaudis mesterværker i Barcelona. Vi vil forklare den udvendige facade og Gaudis geniale kreativitet, når vi designer denne bygning.
Casa Amatller er en af de mest fascinerende modernistiske bygninger for os i Barcelona. Mange gæster lægger ikke meget mærke til det, men vi er sikre på, at vi kan gøre dig lige så begejstret, som vi er, når du har lært om dens historie og arkitektur.
Casa Morera er et fantastisk eksempel på modernistisk håndværk designet af Lluís Domènech I Montaner. Skjult bag de utallige blomsterdekorationer vil vi påpege en yderst overraskende detalje!
Vi passerer Plaça Catalunya - der forbinder den nye by, Eixample, med den gamle bydel.
Vi vil se den modernistiske kunstcafé, som var lige så vigtig for Barcelona som kunstcaféerne i Paris. Picasso kom hertil ligesom Gaudí.
Den berømte koncertsal er en perle af modernistisk arkitektur. Vi vil forklare den storslåede ydre facade med dens mange detaljer og vil også få et glimt ind i den smukke lobby.
Vi vil udforske kvarteret og opdage referencer til de legender, vi har hørt om under turen.

Michael was our very professional and respectful guide. We started in front of La Pedrera. There, and at every building we visited, he told us very interesting stories, both architectural and historical, with colorful commentary illustrating the anecdotes behind each building, popular streets, and even lampposts. It was a very unique tour to meet Barcelona's most famous architects, beyond the master Gaudí. The two hours flew by without us even noticing, despite the heat. He was a pleasure to work with.

This was a wonderful walking tour! Christian had many interesting stories, insights, and tidbits about the architecture and architects as well the culture of Barcelona. He kept a great pace, and our family (including two teens) found it very interesting and a great use of time in the city.

Excellent walking tour with Michael as our guide. We were able to learn more about the history of Barcelona, Gaudí and other architects that designed interesting buildings. Michael kept us involved in the tour by asking us questions about what we saw in buildings. Our tour was casual, like walking with a friend. Definitely would recommend.

Highly recommended. Time is taken to dwell on buildings so that you really understand what has been built. Very nice host who knows a lot about things. Next time in Barcelona we will go back for the chocolate tour.

We loved the Gaudi tour with Christian. He is a fantastic story teller, with good pace and just the right balance of smaller details and larger themes. Definitely recommend this if you want to learn more about the beautiful architecture of this city.

We had an amazing experience walking around Barcelona admiring the beautiful architecture of Barcelona, the rich history of Barcelona and learning about the stories of the architects and how they created these masterpieces. We were fortunate enough to be the only people on tour that day with Michael, so we could completely tailor the tour to fit our needs. We got some great insights and stories of that time.
