A long day but such fun. Picked up a Gaucho on the side of the road 😂, who came with us. Food was plentiful, horse riding was fun and the Gaucho horse whisperer was amazing.
We had a wonderful time. Emilia was our guide, and very hospitable and educated us with history, culture and people of the country and Gaucho which was very informative and made the trip more enjoyable. She was so sweet and always smiling. Everyone at the Ranch loved her as well. Diego, the driver, make sure that our ride was comfortable and drove safe. The ranch we visited, El Omni de Areco, is the family own and working farm. Everybody was friendly and helpful. Estate was very nice, we enjoyed the horseback riding, great food prepared with freshest ingredients and meat, cooked to perfection, and served by friendly staff. Enjoyed the folk songs, dancing with everyone, and also witnessing the Horse Whispering. What a memorable visit it was. I would love to do it again. Thank you for organizing the wonderful trip.
Marcelo is as fantastico!!! Would recommend.
a must do when visiting argentina/buenos aires. great food, guide, and fun! plus a lot of friendly animals at the ranch.
This was the perfect ending to our trip to Buenos Aires. From our conversation in the van in the way to the estancia, looking at shops in San Antonio del Areco, to seeing the Gaucho’s perform, this was worth every penny - maybe even more! Our guide, Marcelo, truly made this experience special. He was very knowledgeable and gave detailed answers to my husband’s many questions. If you are able, spend a day doing the Gaucho experience, you will not regret it.
Oriana was our guide for the day at the estancia. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. She also spoke great English. The estancia was beautiful and not too far of a drive from the city. We enjoyed riding the horses and particularly the meal and wine.
Our guide, Emilia and all the people we met were delightful. The estancia was nice with lots of friendly animals. The dancers were great and the Gaucho demonstration was good. The food was a little disappointing. I found most of the meat tough to chew. Also, we did not visit the silver or chocolate shop in the town of San Antonio De Areca as was advertised. Overall, an enjoyable day, but not fantastic.
This is a fantastic day out. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Loved the horse riding and the singing and dancing was really entertaining. The lunch was delicious.
Great experience. Amazing tour guide. Highly recommended
Everything was excellent! Our guide Marcelo was very accommodating and went above and beyond. Incredible to learn about the history of gaucho culture.
