Good experience, good dinner and wine. We liked so much having dinner during sailing. The sunset from the ship was amazing. We recommend it.
It was incredibly authentic, you felt like a local invited you into their home. Three older men cooking the incredible meal, perfectly grilled fish with potatoes that simmered for hours in a stew like sauce. The food was out of this world, the crew were friendly and charming. They laughed and almost performed for you. You got a welcome shot, bottle of wine, water, bread, salad then the main plus a fruit cup for dessert. It was rustic, authentic the view was amazing and well paced. The crew was unforgettable 💗. Highly recommend.
We had a spectacular time on the cruise. It was a perfect way to spend our first night in Dubrovnik. The food was great and the hosts were lovely. The views from the boat are unmatched.
Very traditional Croatian food which includes a lot of fish — just a warning in case that troubles anyone! The views were amazing and the hosts were so kind. Not a must-do, but definitely a fun time!
The food was very good. We had fish and potatoes that were delicious. The crew was awesome. An overall very nice experience.
Food, service and atmosphere by George and his female partner? A+!! Captain of the boat? Big fat fail… what a shame. Let me just say that sunset cruise does not mean the same thing in October that it does in July and I guess we should’ve thought of that. It was supposed to be a 3 hour cruise of the Elafiti Island Harbor with sunset and three course dinner. The boat came in a few minutes late, and then we sat there in the harbor on the boat while the sun set and it got dark, waiting for two thoughtless girls (who were super late and then sat on the boat taking selfies of themselves the ENTIRE time) so we left late and it was already dark but that didn’t matter because the atmosphere was super cheerful, George and his female partner were excellent hosts. The 3 course meal and wine were all EXCELLENT! It would be a 5-star for them if not for a couple things. First it’s a 3 hour experience but we were back in 1 hour 30 min. The captain kept smoking on the side of the boat and it would blow back into our face as we ate. Yuck. I’m allergic to cigarette smoke so that really annoyed me. But finally this was a 50th birthday celebration for one of my best friends and the three of us were so excited and had paid almost $100 each for this experience. No sunset? No biggie it’s October our fault. No three hours? Again no biggie it was pitch dark and the two princesses who made the boat wait for them probably cut into our Cruise time(though for future reference every tour company I’ve ever had an activity with never waited more than 10 minutes for anyone. It’s not fair to those who paid and showed up early or on time) Canceled on our original night and rescheduled for the next night? OK understandable, there was supposed to be a drizzle even though it never came.. we understood. but on a boat that small, the captain not having good sense to take his cigarettes inside or elsewhere or just wait a damn minute because it was only an hour and a half, not cool. The place that brought this down to three stars was actually though in the last five minutes. The boat docked, our hosts cleaned up and started getting their stuff ready to leave the boat and we started chatting with another 50th birthday girl and her family right next to us. We looked at the time and realized we hadn’t gotten anywhere close to three hours let alone even two so we decided we would just sit and chat on the boat since we paid for our three hours… even if it was just sitting in the harbor. The eight of us ended up deciding to go into the old city for a drink together to toast our two 50-year-old year-old birthday girls! We’d gotten off the boat and were chatting next to it.. our birthday girl realized she needed to use the bathroom and asked the captain politely if he wouldn’t mind if she just use the bathroom really quickly before we left. He just gestured a finger towards the bathroom. On her way out, she said sincerely thank you so much for everything! And he just looked at her without a smile or any appreciation for the business that we could’ve taken elsewhere, and said “oh and thank you so much for your tip!” She was shocked and embarrassed, and pulled out her last €20 bill and gave it to him and he barely said thank you. Are you freaking kidding me?? This was her birthday outing.. we were all short on actual cash and I was planning to take care of the tip, on my own with the tour guides. But this captain, acting like we owed him something when he didn’t participate one iota in the whole evening other than steering the boat out into the harbor floating around in pitch darkness, smoking in our faces and then bringing it back an hour and a half later, thought he deserved some enormous tip? For what?! That money should have gone to George and his associate not him and he certainly shouldn’t have shamed my friend into giving him her last bit of euros. George you were fabulous the two of you cooked amazing food, (his partner was even kind enough to share her recipe with the British ladies who were raving about the sauce…) you are so hospitable and we would tour with you again any day of the week. But never again on that boat with that captain. You should find yourself a new boat because he’s not good for business. And as kind as you were to wait for those two idiot girls who paid more attention to their portable light ring and phone cameras than they did to the food or the people or frankly anything else, you should really think about setting a hard and fast meet time like 15 minutes before you plan to leave and then waiting a MAX of 10 because it’s not fair to the rest who pay for the full experience and have it cut short. As someone who has spent 30 years in fine dining management and customer service, I’m not being judgey I’m really just giving you my honest feedback.
The dinner is the star of the night. The fish that was prepared was incredible. The crew and the boat were both lovely.
The quality of food on this experience was very high, including homemade specialties, and the service was friendly!
Excellent sunset boat tour with lovely local food! Great friendly staff onboard! Lovely way to end our holiday.
Although the hosts were nice and friendly I found it disappointing that we just went in a circle for 2 hours. We sailed away from the sunset so too dark and missed it. Even when we ate we could have picked a better spot but just faced the black see not even the town. Food was good and no complaints about that.
