Garni-templet (77 e.Kr.) - det første stop - er det eneste stående tempel i hele det postsovjetiske område. Garni står yndefuldt på et højt plateau med udsigt over Azat-flodkløften. Du vil også se det romerske badehus med den mystiske mosaik, lavet af 30.000 stykker natursten, samt ruinerne af det kongelige palads fra det 3. århundrede e.Kr.
Garni Gorge er en fantastisk naturattraktion beliggende i Armenien, nær landsbyen Garni. Det er også kendt som "Symphony of Stones" på grund af dens unikke rockformationer, der skaber en smuk symfoni af farver og former. * Besøget på Stones Symphony er underlagt vejrforhold.
Turens næste stop er klosterkomplekset Geghard. Oversat til engelsk som "Monastery of the Holy Lance", refererer det til lansen, som Longinus gennemborede Jesus med. Senere bragt til Armenien og holdt i Geghard-klostret i 5 århundreder. We had a great experience. The tour guide was very informative and we had many opportunities to stop on the drive to take photos and try some fresh lavash bread. Geghard was very crowded and amenities are not great, so better to use bathroom before travelling there. Garni was also excellent as well as the gorge which looks like the organ pipes. Tour was not rushed at all.

Edgar was an extraordinary host. We saw all shades of autumn on our way, an extremely beautiful view of Mount Ararat, a beautifully guided trip to the Garni Temple, the symphony of stones is a natural marvel that can't be told or written about, it must be witnessed with one's own eyes, and then finally visited Geghard, where Edgar showed us the symbolism and the history of the place. I must say, anyone taking the tour needs to take it with a guide, as you truly understand what each and every place represents and why it's something of value. In the end, it's the host that really made the trip special for us with his integrity, attitude, and hospitality. Thank you, Edgar! Looking forward to visiting and exploring all of Armenia with you!

We booked it last minute and the driver picked us up from the hotel lobby. He didn’t speak much English, but he tried and he made the experience very pleasant. We enjoyed the sites and loved the “gata” cakes he recommended. Altogether it took around 4 hours, and it was just what we needed. Thanks again to our driver, he was one of the nicest people we met in our trip to Armenia.
Our guide Nektar was amazing, so full of life, so full in explanations, with very good English. The places we've visited are amazing and I truly recommend them.
