Nazaré er det sted, hvor vi har de største bølger i verden, nogle gange 30 til 32 meter høje
Klosteret Santa Maria da Vitória, også kaldet Batalha-klosteret, er uden tvivl et af de smukkeste værker af portugisisk og europæisk arkitektur. Dette enestående arkitektoniske ensemble var resultatet af opfyldelsen af et løfte givet af kong D. João I, som tak for sejren i Aljubarrota, et slag udkæmpet den 14. august 1385, som sikrede tronen og garanterede Portugals uafhængighed. Arbejdet varede i mere end 150 år gennem flere faser af byggeriet. Denne varighed retfærdiggør eksistensen, i hans kunstneriske forslag, af Manueline (overvejende) gotiske løsninger og en kort renæssancenote. Adskillige tilføjelser blev introduceret i det indledende projekt, hvilket resulterede i et stort klosterensemble, der i øjeblikket har en kirke, to klostre med udhuse og to kongelige panteoner, grundlæggerens kapel og de uperfekte kapeller. The Sanctuary of Fátima, berettiget af den katolske kirke som Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Rosenkrans af Fátima, er en mariansk helligdom dedikeret til Vor Frue af Fátima, beliggende i Cova da Iria, i byen Fátima. We used Antonio twice during our stay and found him to be excellent. He went over and above to assist us in every way. His tours were amazing showing us areas not on the typical tourist map. His vehicle was comfortable and he supplied water bottles all day. He was very generous with his time and best of all pointed out bathroom stops at every sight we visited. 10/10 for us!

We did a shorter tour, but that was the charm of it, that we took our time for each place we were at. Antonio was a great guide, and the organization was impeccable. A particularly nice surprise was the local restaurant recommended by Antonio for lunch. Many thanks to Antonio for an unforgettable tour! I recommend 101%

This tour was a highlight of my month stay in Portugal. So happy I found Antonio. As a solo traveler, this was an excellent adventure and I was able to visit some extraordinary places. I highly recommend him to solo and small group travelers. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

Omg. The entire day was amazing. Antonio, our guide was so kind and knowledgeable. He made the day very special. The gardens with Buddha are just spectacular. The caves are unbelievable. I would highly highly highly recommend this tour with Antonio. Please request him.

We had a wonderful full day trip with Antonio. Due to forest fire warning in the area we couldn’t do the planned trip, but luckily Antonio has a plan b, which frankly seemed to be even better :)

The trip was so very well organized. Antonio gave us a choice of several stops that had different things to see and visit. Once we made the selections we were off. He took a lot of backroads which had stunning scenery and avoiding traffic jams. Lunch was delicious. Great restaurant with lovely servers! We visited Obidos and walked along the moors castle then took a stroll thru medieval streets. Off to batalha monastery. Beautiful cathedral. Visited Fatima sanctuary and final stop Nazare. This location has beautiful beaches. You will not be disappointed. Highly recommend António!

This place is huge and a bit overwhelming. I like the fact that you can you for hourse just gazing at amazing stuff. No need for the train though. Also I would like more guidance - digital - when cruising.
Sintra roads were closed so we were able to reschedule different venues for the day. It was lovely to see other areas of the beautiful countryside

Thanks to Antonio, we were able to visit Nazaré and its surroundings in a very pleasant and comfortable way. All his explanations concerning the places visited brought us a better knowledge of Portugal both culturally, economically and socially. We visited places we would never have gone alone I think.
