Gå til Big Rock i Cantareira State Park: Valgfri afhentning i lufthavnen

Tag en privat guidet vandretur i Cantareira State Park, cirka 40 minutter væk fra São Paulos centrum med privat køretøj. Vandringen har som hovedmål at nå Pedra Grande (stor klippe), som er en 1010 meter høj belvedere omkring 5 kilometer væk fra parkens hovedindgang (10 km gåtur rundtur), hvor besøgende kan betragte en af de mest pragtfulde udsigter over Sao Paulo. For at nå Pedra Grande-udsigtspunktet vandrer besøgende på ikke-asfalterede veje op ad bakke, på stier med let sværhedsgrad og omgivet af naturlig skov, frodigt landskab, små vandfald og dyr, især aber. Cirka halvanden times gang fra parkens hovedindgang hviler en smuk sø. Tag en pause på kanten af det, og fortsæt derefter i mere 30 minutter, mens du når ud til belvederen. Når du først er på det øverste hvileområde i Pedra Grande, kan du nyde den utrolige udsigt, der spænder over hele São Paulos vidder, og se over dalene mod den største by på den sydlige halvkugle.

Vi møder dig på dit hotel og tager af sted mod den nordlige del af byen. Efter omkring halvtreds minutters rejse går vi ind i Cantareira State Park, et naturreservat, der strækker sig over mere end 7.900 hektar: hvad der svarer til 8000 fodboldbaner!
Når vi er blandt Cantareira-bjergkæden, begynder vi vores vandrerute, der fører os til Pedra Grande. Undervejs vil vi være i stand til at betragte det frodige naturlandskab og små vandfald, samt observere dyrene, der lever i parken. Hold øjnene åbne, og med lidt held vil du få øje på nogle aber! Efter halvanden times gåtur gør vi et stop ved bredden af Lago das Carpas, hvor vi kan genfinde kræfterne og slappe af midt i naturen.
Vi fortsætter vores rejse i yderligere tredive minutter, indtil vi når Pedra Grande, et udsigtspunkt beliggende 1010 meter over havets overflade, hvorfra vi vil nyde en utrolig udsigt over São Paulo og dalene omkring byen. Kontrasten mellem metropolen og den omkringliggende skov er virkelig fantastisk!
Afslut med en fantastisk frokost på "O Velhão" restaurantkompleks (ikke inkluderet) og nyd den berømte cachaça, den brasilianske nationaldrink, som restauranten byder på mange varianter af.

This was a fantastic day walking the rainforest and seeing the expansive views back over Sao Paulo. Amazing. It is only a short car ride out of the city but you felt miles away. All of the arrangements on the day worked really well with hotel pick-up and drop-off. Communication throughout was really good. Denis, our guide for the day, was absolutely brilliant. Really friendly, great knowledge, excellent English and a fun sense of humour. Made it all really interesting and educational. Also everything was tailored around us (a family of three), what we wanted to see and how long we wanted to be walking. Highly recommended and great value.

Danilo from Gregtur picked us up at our Airbnb and was our guide for the walk up through the National Park to Big Rock for superlative views of São Paulo City. Danilo was a superb guide and we enjoyed his company right from the start . He told us so much about São Paulo, its culture, history and politics that it brought the place alive for us. He had a thoughtful and gentle manner which all of us loved. His English was superb. The walk itself up through the national park(rainforest) was beautiful. The views from the top down to the city were amazing. He gave us space to enjoy the views as a family but was very attentive to our needs. He took some beautiful photos of us and the views. It was a day that the four of us will never forget! I highly recommend the tour and Danilo as a guide. We had another tour booked with Gregturismo the next day and were delighted to find Danilo was our tour guide again!

Was searching very last minute for an outdoor activity the next morning and came in contact with Greg. He did an incredible job of pure customer service by working to coordinate with available guides, open parks, and my budget. I was picked up from my hotel, guided on a 5 hr hike, drank from fresh coconuts to rehydrate, then dropped off back at my hotel. All of this was done by Luiz. Such an amazing person. Full of stories, knowledge, courtesy, and an openness to friendship. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a close urban escape while in Sao Paulo.

Delightful pair of walks up to Pedra Grande with an amazing view of all of Sao Paolo, then through the rainforest to waterfalls. Our guide Dennis was very knowledgeable, friendly and good company. Recommend most highly.
Outstanding views of São Paulo with some close encounters with sagui monkeys! Loved it! Guide explained local food and drinks at an amazing restaurant.
I didn’t post any pictures because I didn’t want to confuse the actual tour we did. I was unable to do the hike due to a last minute injury. The tour guide company was phenomenal at accommodating the change of plans and we were able to have a great day with Denis our guide. He was very knowledgeable and guided us with ease in English. Highly recommend this tour as their staff is exceptional
