The trip was very nice. We saw so many islands. There was a lot of activity. Drinks and foods are included. People are friendly. It’s worth the trip.
Good , amazing place , beautiful , welcoming people
Bad experience. Nothing was as offered: they failed to follow the itinerary, were totally punctual and the organization left much to be desired. The guide, Joel, left us practically abandoned in Playa Barú and did not want to fulfill the routes included in the package. I do not recommend this agency at all.
Avoid this tour. Getting to the boat was a disorganized mess. We did the 5 stop tour and it was a terrible 8 hours thinking we were getting into a relaxing cruise and island hopping - not so. ‘Snorkeling’ consisted of jumping off the boat for 5-10 minutes with merely a mask - not a snorkel in sight. We were then rushed to Cholon which is the biggest and most disgusting tourist trap. Staying there for over 2.5 hours where we were accosted by hawkers selling crap, massages and drinks floating in disgusting water. We were then rushed to 2 other (somewhat better) islands where we were only given 30 minutes. Overall a terrible experience and should be avoided.
Alex was the best tour guide very attentive to everyone needs & wants was on time for everything and always made sure we was safe
I want to congratulate the management of Luis Fernando Ramirez Ortiz de Afro corals for being an integral person, very concerned and of good values. We had a financial problem and resolved it quickly, never left us alone and made us feel safe and supported at all times. A great trustworthy person. I recommend taking tours with him. Your efforts and humanity are greatly appreciated. Grateful
Had a great time. Drinks are a fraction more expensive than the states but you’re in an island so it’s undesirable. Overall, great experiment if you’re looking to party.
Avoid This Tour Operator at All Costs! I booked an English-language tour but was instead placed on a Spanish-language one, with no effort made to accommodate the mistake. Worse, the so-called guide seemed more interested in spending time with his girlfriend than doing his actual job. His complete lack of professionalism left me questioning how he was even allowed to be there. The situation went from bad to worse when the guide took my belongings back to the mainland while stranding me on an island. I was left scrambling to find a way back and had to go through an exhausting process—and pay a ransom—just to retrieve my items. This experience was beyond unacceptable. If you value your time, safety, and sanity, steer clear of this company.
originally booked this with my friends because it listed a bioluminescent plankton activity at the end of the tour. we didn’t get that. the whole system was very disorganized and they had us waiting at the meeting point for over an hour and then hearded us onto a bus to wait at a dock for another half hour in the hot sun - this was 2 hours of the morning total and they never told us what was going on. boat tour didn’t even start until 10 am. they then brought us to 2 different areas to “snorkel” for 20 minutes. one only showing a small sunken plane and the other nobody got out since we just got back in the boat 5 mins before that (i did though and the reef was pretty). they then took us to cholon where it was advertised we would be there for an hour and a half and we stayed for well over two hours (this is where i came tk the conclusion that although this is advertised as a 5 island tour it’s mostly a cholon boat). we were then brought to a small island and given plastic lawn chairs and fruit for another 20 mins and then were brought to another island where we were told to hangout in a bar. it was weird and at no moment did we know what was happening next. the tour driver kept staring at me in a bikini. and we didn’t see the plankton.
Transport and guide very well. The beautiful landscapes. They need to improve the organization by integrating the groups. Nice beach spots but with very little comfort and hygiene for food.
