Heldagstur i Tolantongo fra San Miguel Allende
Beskrivelse
Dagen begynder med en dejlig morgenbuffet for at forberede den nødvendige energi til dagens aktiviteter. Derefter vil det være vandaktiviteter hele dagen. Vi starter turen med de varme bassiner, der er blevet ætset på bjergsiden, og fortsætter senere ned til den turkise termiske flod for en afslappende frokost langs dens bredder. Efter frokost hopper vi ind i flodens varme vand, før vi går over til de herlige vandfald og huler. Inden vi går ind i hulerne, vil vi beundre udsigten over vandfaldene, der vogter de naturlige huler, vi vil udforske. I hulerne vil vi bruge vores lamper til at gå gennem det varme vand, der ekstruderer indefra, udforske de indre vandfald og observere oprindelsespunktet for vandet, der giver Tolantongo dets navn. Tolantongo, der betyder "sted for varmt vand i bevægelse", vil vise sig at give dig en oplevelse i Mexico ulig noget andet. (Udforskning af floder og huler er betinget af godt vejr i dage før for at give mulighed for en optimal oplevelse).

Ved afgang kører vi til Tequisquiapan (90 minutter). Vegetarvenlige muligheder med begrænsede veganske muligheder. Morgenmaden er over os. Efter morgenmad (40 minutter), går vi videre til Tolantongo (120 minutter).
Pool Tranquility (2 timer): Start din oplevelse med at slappe af et stykke tid i "pocitos"; naturligt varme termiske pools, der giver en forbløffende udsigt, der beroliger og renser krop og sind – perfekt til "grammet". Der er en zip-foring mulighed for overgang til floden, ikke inkluderet (250 mexicanske pesos). Frokost (30 minutter): Bordet picnic ved floden (hvis vejret tillader det). Forudbestil frokost fra den lokale restaurant og få et sæt op ved floden. Frokost er IKKE prisen inkluderet. River Relaxation (2 timer): Dernæst er den turkisfarvede flod velforvaltet og er naturligt varm på grund af de termiske kilder, en komplet afslappende oplevelse. Grotteudforskning (60 minutter): Du vil se ærefrygtindgydende vandfald og uventede eventyr, som vores gæster har beskrevet som "livsændrende." Vores guider tager dig med til at udforske hulerne og tunnelerne, der ligger her. Nyd vandfaldene, der dækker hulerne, og tag en svømmetur i den varme pool inde i bjerget. Vi tager afsted kl 17.30.
Kør på vej til Huichapan (90 minutter). Strækstop: Toilet og strækpause. Fortsæt chaufføren til San Miguel de Allende (120 minutter)

We had a wonderful time. We were so surprised by the grandeur of the river valley and the experience of exploring and swimming in the caves. The mountain side pools were relaxing and gorgeous. A must do experience!
If at all possible, request Diego when you book this excursion. He was right on time, very friendly and quite willing to share his knowledge of the surrounding area and culture. He explained everything we would experience and was there to lend a hand where necessary. Make sure you stand under the falls in the cave for a natural massage.
Grutas Tolantongo itself is a breathtaking destination with stunning turquoise waters, relaxing thermal pools, caves, and beautiful mountain views. Diego helped us make the most of our time there and provided a great tour with wonderful conversation. He made the long drive enjoyable, shared interesting information along the way, and ensured everyone felt comfortable and safe. Every moment was absolutely magical. Highly recommend - you will enjoy every moment!
Diego, our tour guide, truly exceeded our expectations. Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable, but he was also a pleasant and wonderful companion throughout the journey. As well-traveled guests with experience working with many guides, we can confidently say that Diego stands above the rest, he is truly best in class. Thank you for allowing me to join the existing tour at the last minute, and to the family that agreed to have me on their tour. It was excellent to see Tolantongo before the Easter crush. An easy and enjoyable full day excursion from San Miguel de Allende with door-to-door transport. Diego was the guide, and he demonstrated excellent driving skills, smiling connection with all the local providers, knowledgeable information, and smooth provision of all the things - snacks/drinks/chairs/backpacks/timing … all the things seen and unseen that make a tour enjoyable and relaxed because someone is working hard behind the scenes. This is a very professional tour experience, but one that feels personal and bespoke. I enjoyed all elements of the destination, and although heavily touristed (for obvious reasons because it is so good!!) the natural beauty and existence of really hot thermal springs was so good to visit. The full moon following us home topped off the perfect day.
This was an awesome trip! 3 kids (8,6 and 4) and one senior citizen were also in our group and they all had a blast. The variety of things to do there was an awesome surprise and our tour guides literally thought of everything- from blankets for the van ride, to a beautiful riverside picnic at the end of the day, and headlamps etc.
This was a wonderful experience! Our tour guide was very friendly and we never felt rushed. I will be returning!
4 of us took the tour from San Miguel to Tolantongo at the end of January 2926z Christian was our driver and tour guide. From the minute he picked us up, we had a wonderful time. He was kind, informative, patient and his English was very good. It was worth the money and the time. The pools, caves and river were so beautiful. They looked like they’d been photoshopped. Thank you Christian for making our day and happy memories.
