Turen starter fra krydstogtskibe, der dykker i Mombasa havn eller hotel, og vi bringer dig tilbage til havnen eller hotellet i tide til videre rejser: Fort Jesus Historical Museum, Old Town, Walk i markedet og frokost i en lokal retter restaurant i Mombasa, Mombasa Giant Elephant Tusk monument og eftermiddag besøg til haller park. Du bliver hentet fra havnen og ført til Fort Jesus. Dette er Mombasas ældste museum, og det skildrer lokalbefolkningens kultur og oprindelse, idet det nævnes ophavet til Swahili. The pick-up and drop off was good. The best part of the tour was visiting the Akamba Handicraft centre. This was absolutely amazing and we could have spent more time there. Visiting the old part of Mombasa was a bit boring. Fort Jesus was quite interesting. Haller Park was tranquil and a great way to finish the tour. We were rather taken aback when the tour operator asked us for an extra $US60 for the tour.

The car we ride was very small .No leg room I think we were discriminated by having the small car. If any one else they would be very unhappy. I want my money returned The guide was good

The driver was informative from the day before the Trip let us know exactly what was going on his name was Vincent. He was five minutesearly to pick us up which was great waiting for us very informative very helpful. Solved a slight issue we had which was nothing to with him but I’ve got to say a very thoughtful, helpful knowledgeable driver. Got us where we needed to be on time. The car was clean spacious air-conditioned in fact the day he provided 100% and we wasvery happy to have him as our driver. Also, the historical guide was very helpful and knowledgeable too.

Vincent was AWESOME! Extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He talked about Mombasa life as we drove between sites. The recommended lunch restaurant had excellent local food and the portions were very large. He made sure we got great pics at the zoo. Anthony was an excellent source of local knowledge and provided us with detailed history of the places we visited. Highlights: knowledge, tour of the city, the market, the production factory and items they produced. I would highly recommend them!

Met by Vincent our driver who speaks exceptional English. The beginning was a bit confusing as to where pick up point was but once that was overcome it was all smooth . We met our tour guide Anthony a little bit later in the main town of Mombasa, Anthony english was also excellent .Anthony knowledge was outstanding of Mombasa old and new town. We visited a resturant called Rozinas , food was delicious and catered for tastes. Off to Haller Park zoo which was a definite highlight for us then back to the ship . A full day of knowledge and enjoyment.

Great tour. We saw everything we wanted to see. Anthony our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the area and very articulate. Vincent our driver/guide was very nice and accommodating to all of our requests. He is an excellent driver. He took us to a restaurant and we had an excellent lunch. Would recommend.

My husband and I enjoyed our day exploring Mombasa. We went to the tusks, market, Beach with fresh coconuts and cassava chips. Then on to an additional guide for old town history and Fort Jesus. Antoni was the old time guide who was very knowledgeable. It was so hot and humid. We then had lunch at a local restaurant then on to Haller Park. The only down sides of the day were we did not get into the Fort Jesus museum 🫤. (Also there are no hippos at the Haller Park) We also think they should have included waters with the tour... Overall still a good tour.

This was my first trip to Mombasa, Kenya so I wanted a good tour that would orient me to the city’s rich history, people and energy. Well, Bush Pumba Safaris most certainly delivered on that. My host and driver, Vincent, was very knowledgeable and patient with me as I asked him a lot of questions throughout the day. Our itinerary included taking pictures at the iconic Pemba za Ndovu (Commemorative Elephant Tusks on Moi Avenue), visits to a beautiful Hindu temple, Fort Jesus and Old Town, the busy Likoni Ferry and also Haller Park - where I got to feed the giraffes, watch a crocodile feeding session and see the many other local animals resident there. But, my favorite stop was to the Akamba Handicraft Cooperative Society site where I got to see and speak with the expert craftsmen who were making some of the most beautiful commemorative artwork by hand in ebony, teak, rosewood and other local materials. I was so spoiled for choice there that I ended up having to buy another piece of travel luggage (later in town) to accommodate the multiple items I purchased. It was also great to learn that 80% of all sales proceeds at Akamba go directly to the artisans there. After seeing their handiwork in progress directly, as well as the excellent quality of that work, they are certainly deserving of the fruits of their labors. I would definitely recommend Bush Pumba Safaris for the Full Day Tour of Mombasa, and if you’re lucky like me you will get Vincent as your guide. He made my first Mombasa experience unforgettable.
