Full Day Tour i Mantanani

Snorkelling two spots and chill afternoon by the beach. Quite remote but nice to be away from the crowd. The coach to Jet point can be a bit far if you live at KK city centre. I am alright cuz we around Tauran.

Beautiful island indeed but it does take 2 hour drive from KK to Kota Belud. We go to the Jetty to take the speedboat which takes less than 1 hour but the sea was choppy, even worse when we were coming back. The beach was nice with turquoise blue waters and swaying palm trees. Our guide Matt was professional, made sure that we got there and back to the hotel safely so kudos to him on that for doing a great job in this area but I do feel he wasn't the most talkative and seemed more interested in listening to his music while on the coach going and coming back which gave me a little negative impression - I guess some people are not as sociable. Overall, I had a good experience

We have no words to describe it! it was an AMAZING day! the whole crew were super duper attentive and with great energy. Rafie and Sabri ( awesome DJ) were new level, specially with our 4 year old twins ! they played in the water, they took them back to the boat so we could snorkel a little by ourselves! We could not be more thankful. Time in the water was not as much as we wished, due to the location of the island, but that was very clear from the moment we were inquiring. Everything they told us would happen it happened. If we go back, there is no doubt we will be exploring the waters with them again. Recommend 100%

We went on a full day tour with the company Lovely tours To Mantanani island , we had a private driver pick us up in a very clean car for a 2 hour trip to the jetty , at the jetty they had a lovely spot for us to wait including very clean toilets and showers , the trip in the lovely pink boat was pretty smooth even though there was a bit of waves the island was beautiful so clean , fantastic toilets and showers , huge undercover area for a big buffet lunch , unlimited water and juice as well as a shop with bathers , rashies , towels , hats ,snack and soft drink A lot of beach lounges with umbrellas and cute swings for photos , the water is so beautiful and crystal clear , they took us out in the boat to two different snorkelling spots , so many colourful fish and coral , the occasional jellyfish but they were always watch from the boat and warning us if one came close by , for people not confident in swimming or snorkelling, life jackets were supplied and worn and the tour guides got in the water and showed them the best parts including a whole heap of Nemo ( clown fish ) then after several hours back to the island for a buffet lunch and then free time to explore the island or relax on the beach Over all it was a really fantastic day 100% I would do it again Take hats , towel and rashie plus lots of sun cream it’s very easy to burn when snorking , you don’t realise because the water is so cool

The beach is beautiful and the weather was nice! Our guide and the trip have been arranged reasonably, I really enjoyed it:)

The island is tropical and beautiful snorkeling was beautiful so many fish and coral crystal clear waters x however the advertised one hour from Kato turned into 2 hours with traffic on arrival at blue dolphin the toilet facility were disgusting and unusable x the boat had seating for 22 with life vest however with crew and locals another 9 people boarded and the boat was over loaded x lunch was ok if you ate seafood x unfortunately I don’t x the crew were very happy and loud with head thumping music played on boat and on island x on departure once again over loaded boat with original number plus 3 back papers joining x not ideal x back to mainland after 50 minute boat ride again would not use disgusting toilets x bus not there we had to wait x finally on the road back to Kato kinabula 2 hours + with traffic x the island is stunning prepare for a long day

Overall we had fun! It was a memorable trip and Sutera arranged a lot of fun activities for us. The service was on point and the food is mouth watering 💯 definitely worth a visit and we will go back for sure !

We very enjoy our full day tour in Mantanani Island . The service provided by our tour guide Yayan is excellent . Even she is not a chinese but she try and speak really well in mandarin . She explain everything and take a good care of us that day . Snorkelling in Mantanani is the best theres a lot of fish and coral . We very satisfied with our full day tour and the service provided by Yayan from TYH BORNEO .

My first snorkel experience could not have been any better, was participating on the 22/10/2019. My guide totally gave me the VIP treatment. The group was small enough so we could enjoy the nice weather and the paradise that is Mantanani islands. Later on during my vacation I had a chance to snorkel around Mamutik Island as well and only then did I get a good comparison to see how beautiful the corals around Mantanani are indeed. Rich biodiversity and an awesome place to observe it. The locals were friendly and whereas the lunch was nothing extraordinary, it was tasty and more then enough. We had two times 35-45 minutes to snorkel and the staff was awesome in picking us up after so we did not need to stay too close to the boat or swim a lot against the waves (this helped the participants who were not confident swimmers). I would totally recommend the trip to anyone as in my view the beauty of the place in unparalleled.

My friend and I have an unforgettable and wonderful trip in Mantanani Island with blue sky and beauty beach view. The local guides are very professional, such as explain the detailed information and instruction about snorkeling to us. In process, we felt nervous as there is our first time to participate in the activity of snorkeling. Fortunately, the local guides took good care and taught us carefully so that we can enjoy this experience of snorkeling which also lets us can see the anemonefish, starfish, sea urchin and so on. Besides, the tour has enough free time to us that we walked around and took many photos in Mantanani Island. It seems like fairytale wonderland as there is a gradient of blue between the sea and the beach. It’s very awesome. Specially, we feel thankful to all the local guides (e.g. YaYan from TYH and Nick) and the boat driver. They are very nice and careful.
