Ma Anandamayi Ashram er et spirituelt center og ashram dedikeret til Sri Ma Anandamayi, som var en fremtrædende bengalsk mystiker og en spirituel personlighed. Ashramen har et mausoleum eller en Samadhi, som huser Ma Anandamayis grav. Komplekset rummer flere bygninger beregnet til meditation, yoga og lignende aktiviteter.
Har Ki Pauri er et stort vartegn og en berømt ghat ved bredden af floden Ganga i Haridwar. Har ki Pauri, som er et centrum for tiltrækning blandt hengivne i Haridwar, menes at være stedet for udgangen af den hellige flod Ganga fra bjergene. Review: Dharamshala Stay in rishikesh I recently stayed at a dharamshala in Haridwar during my pilgrimage, and the experience was peaceful and comfortable. The location was close to Har Ki Pauri, making it very convenient for attending Ganga Aarti and taking a holy dip in the river. The dharamshala was clean, simple, and well-maintained. Rooms were basic but sufficient for a spiritual traveler — with clean bedding, running water, and good ventilation. The staff was polite and helpful, and the environment was safe and calm, ideal for families and elderly visitors. Most dharamshalas here also have in-house dining or nearby bhojanalayas serving satvik (pure vegetarian) food at affordable prices. The spiritual atmosphere of rishikesh, combined with the humble hospitality of the dharamshala, made my stay fulfilling.
We attended the mahashrivati at Hardiwar and Rishikesh with them. Though the traffic is a bit crazy, it’s still a quite phenomenal experience.
