Du vil gå ud på en motoriseret båd mod den berømte Mnemba Atoll Marine Reserve. Du vil snorkle i krystalklar turkis vand over et pulserende koralrev fyldt med tropiske fisk (engelfish, blå-spotted stråler og zebra fisk). Der er en meget høj chance (omkring 70 - 80%) for at spotte og svømme i nærheden af vilde flaskeose delfiner langs vejen.
Derefter besøger du den berømte naturlige tidevandsbassin i Nungwi. Her kan du svømme ved siden af reddede grønne havskildpadder, fodre dem med havsalt (havsalge) og lære om helligdommens bevaringsindsats, før de frigiver skildpadderne tilbage i naturen. Det er en utrolig, up-close foto mulighed.
Afslut din dag på Kendwa Beach, berømt for at have en af de eneste strande på øen, der ikke er påvirket af lavt tidevand (vandet forbliver dybt og kan svømme hele dagen). Slap af på den pulveriserede hvide sand, svøm i de rolige bølger, og se en afrikansk solnedgang i verdensklasse over Det Indiske Ocean. We had such an incredible day exploring the north of Zanzibar. The snorkeling was beautiful, the water was crystal clear, and seeing the sea turtles up close was definitely one of the highlights.
