Rejseplan

This was a great experience. Our guide was very informative and did an excellent job explaining the history in an accurate and respectful manner. My teenage daughters were even engaged throughout the tour and took a lot of interesting information away from the tour.
Sam our guide was brilliant and ensured he covered all the important information of the tour. Loved catching train & bus.
I recommend this company. Our guide was very professional and gave a lot of information. If you're in Munich you must visit. On our tour we had people from all over the world in all ages including teenagers.
Getting to see everything here first hand was very impactful. Our guide did a great job of providing insight and information in a way that everyone could understand. Also appreciated him trying to find shade for us
Tom was a great tour guide, very like the British comedian James Acaster — who is hilarious! He was extremely knowledgeable and respectful of the memorial. Some of the explanations were too US-centric for our group (Spaniards, Brits, Irish, Canadians, etc.), so most of us didn't get many of the nuanced references/names that were used in regular comparisons throughout, but overall an excellent day with a really friendly guide! :)
Had an excellent guide (Tom). Humbling, at times gut-wrenching, but an informative tour and explanation of what happened here. Highly recommended. Quite hot and a lot of walking but a not-to-miss experience.
Well organized. Friendly, clear and very many interesting facts told in clear story at the camp Dachau . Definitely recommended, the day flew by.
Well organized and structured. Excellent tour guide: Sam demonstrated his personal passion for ensuring the memory of countless victims being kept alive during the whole tour with deep respect and detailed knowledge about the site and its history.
Adam Martin was a fabulous guide. He was knowledgeable of history and was totally unbiased. He took time to explain things and show me the key sites in Dachau.
There are a lot of tourists here in the summer. It was fairly crowded, and often impossible to hear our own tour guide, although he tried his best. This is "must-see" content, but it is not well presented. The buildings are not well marked, making it difficult to navigate. The film sound was too soft, the sibtitles too low, and the whole thing seemed to have a US slant. I think they should replace this with a better film. This location is easy to access by train from the centre of Munich, so I think it would be better to go on your own and buy your entrance ticket there and listen to the explanations on the listening devices provided.
Dear William, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We’re glad you found the content meaningful, and we’re sorry that the summer crowds made parts of the tour harder to follow. Our guides always try their best to manage busy conditions, but at peak season the memorial can be extremely full with large numbers of German school groups visiting before the summer holidays. A quick clarification: the documentary film and its presentation are not produced or controlled by tour operators. It was created by the Survivors’ Committee and the Education Department, and we have no ability to alter the sound, subtitles, or style. The same is true for the signage of buildings, which is entirely managed by the memorial site administration. We also want to gently address your suggestion about visiting on your own with the audio guide. The audio guide is a helpful tool for orientation, but it does not offer the depth, nuance, or survivor‑context that our guides provide. And of course, you cannot ask the audio guide questions or request clarification on difficult topics. Thank you again for visiting the memorial and engaging with its history.
