Oplev et af verdens 7 vidundere, Machu Picchu, på denne spændende endagsudflugt, der begynder med din ankomst til den gamle hovedstad i Inkariget, Cusco. Du rejser gennem de høje Andesbjerge og de mystiske skyskove ombord på et tog, der tager dig til byen Aguas Calientes. Derfra går du til det gamle citadel ved din ankomst til den tidligere inkahovedstad for at udforske ruinerne med hjælp fra vores professionelle guide, som vil fortælle dets historie og betydning for inkaerne. Du vil også have fri tid til at udforske byen Aguas Calientes.

Tidligt om morgenen, som aftalt, henter vi dig fra dit hotel og tager dig til Ollantaytambo togstation, hvorfra vi tager til Aguas Calientes.
Efter en næsten 2-timers rejse fra Ollantaytambo ankommer vi til Aguas Calientes-stationen, hvor vores guide venter på dig med et skilt med dit navn.
Derefter vil vi gå til busstoppestedet, hvor vi vil stige i 30 minutter og 400 meter langs en zigzaggende sti for at nå den "historiske helligdom Machu Picchu," også kendt som "den tabte by af inkaerne." Når vi ankommer til Machu Picchu citadel, vil vi begynde den guidede tur, ledsaget af vores guide. I ca. 2 timer og 30 minutter besøger vi de vigtigste steder i Machu Picchu.
Efter den guidede tur vender vi tilbage til byen Aguas Calientes, hvor du kan nyde din frokost på en af de mange restauranter eller, hvis du foretrækker det, på Sanctuary Lodge (frokost på egen hånd). Sidst på eftermiddagen tager vi toget tilbage til Ollantaytambo og følger samme rute som på vejen dertil.

It was an amazing experience to travel internationally alone. Wonderful places! And all support and support from the team. I had the privilege of being guided by Wuilber, who was super attentive, speaks very well Portuguese and took several photos for me!!! I loved everything
The visit to Machu Picchu was incredibly surprising. The journey by train with wonderful landscapes, the arrival to Águas Calientes which seems to be a small town in the middle of nothing, but which is after all a surprising city with a life that reminds of large European and Asian cities, full of restaurants, music, stores, crafts. The next day we went by bus to the entrance to Machu Picchu and when we arrived there was already our guide Jesse who accompanied us and along the climb was explaining to us what was that place, what the usages and customs of the people of Machu Picchu, and how the city was built.
The experience in Machu Picchu with the help of Peru Grand Travel was incredible! The organization of the plan, the assistance in obtaining the circuits we wanted, the support before and during the experience, and the guide in Machu Picchu were all excellent and we loved it. Excellent service, we made the reservation in advance and we were well served and did not delay in responding. We visited the agency in loco and were well received. Our experience with Peru Grand Travel throughout the trip through Peru was impeccable. All the activities were very well organized and we didn't have to worry about anything, just to enjoy the beautiful landscapes. The guide Carmen accompanied us on our visit to Machu Picchu. He did the whole script giving various explanations, always calmly and even took beautiful photos for us!

The tour requires planning and preparation as it is a full-day tour, especially if you are with children. Support and information were essential. We love the experience.

We made the tour to Machu Picchu and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The guide demonstrated an impressive knowledge, explaining the history and details of the place in a clear and engaging way, which made all the difference in the visit.
