Rejseplan
*Dropstation Hongik Univ. Station, Myeongdong Station og Dongdaemun History & Culture Park station

Michael, our tour guide was fantastic and made the day tour to Jeonju enjoyable. We were in safe hands and gave us many information at the different places we visited.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review, and we are thrilled to hear you had a safe and informative day tour to Jeonju with Michael! I will surely pass your kind words on to him, and we hope to welcome you back for another great journey in Korea.
Beautiful well organized tour, we were a small punctual and serious group. Our guide drivers Mac and Travis were really nice and prepared. The places visited very beautiful and recommended to everyone!
The combination of the walk in the forest (with a great point of view) and the visit of the historical Jeonju is a must-do in autumn. Our guide Gienie was very sympathetic.
Gienie Kim is an excelent guide! We had plenty of time in Jeonju Hanok Village, so we couñd eat and move around without any rush. Great day!
We went there in October 2025 to visit Hanok village in Jeonju and the Jangtasean forest. Autumn being a little late we had beautiful green colors rather than yellow and red but it is not a problem because it was still pleasant. Thank you to our kind guide Sabrina for giving us the necessary information to make our day run smoothly
Yohan is an excellent tour guide! He managed the time well without making us feel rushed and was keen to take pictures of our group and members. We were also given ample time to explore on our own or rest while others continued exploring. He was fluent in three languages. He knew when to share info and make suggestions for activities and restaurants to cater to each traveller's adventurous spirit. During the longer drives he encouraged us to relax and that he would transport us safely - I slept like a little girl being driven by her father (and sleep does not usually come easy for me). The scenery was awesome and the walk comfortable. So many beautiful art and crafts in the Hanok village.
A long but very interesting day. Jeonju Hanok Village was amazing and we were given plenty of time to explore and maybe try some Jeonju bibimbap (delicious!). Jangtaesan forest was also impressive and very beautiful even though the trees were only just starting to change colour. I can only imagine what it’s like further into autumn when everything’s a sea of gold like the picture! Our driver/guide was excellent and ensured the day ran smoothly. Overall, a great day!
We had the luck to be a small group and felt like it was a private tour. Our guides Sky and PK have been very insightful and funny and always interacting with us either to let us know more about the Jeonju and the history or or to take picture of us (guides & photographers at the same time ;) ). I left there with a feeling of wanting to return and spend at least one night in both Jeonju as well as the Jangtaesan Forest. Definitely worth the experience!!
I’ve been on 2 other Viator trips in the past. Both were overall seamless, organized, and comfortable. On Monday November 11th’s trip, both the guide and driver were incredibly unpleasant and unprofessional. I wonder what type of impression the other foreign travelers left of Koreans after this experience. There were a handful of Korean and Korean Americans on this trip, and I overheard the guide call one of the passengers a “byung shin” or “병신” which is a highly derogatory term. There is no excuse for this type of treatment. All because they didn’t text him back within an appropriate time frame. This was at 7:30AM in the morning. What an awful way to start a 13 hour day. As a client who arrived on time, I didn’t mind that a few people got the meeting point mixed up. It’s not easy navigating the messages and meeting points. It was a few minutes of wait time. The drama that ensued after was unnecessary. I know most people felt uncomfortable. The guide’s English was terrible, not only his accent but also his choice of material. He rambled and repeated insignificant things. It was bizarre. If you are not personable, just please just stick to the itinerary, our next stops, and practice clarity instead of confusion. Absolutely never choosing Viator again. A 33% chance of repeating this experience is not worth the premium price you pay to risk it and be forced to spend time with unprofessional individuals. You pay the premium for quality service and ease. I’d 100% rather rent a car with my international license, copy the same itinerary, and drive the short few hours for a much more pleasant trip. Only reason I gave 2/5 stars is because we made it home alive.
Good food and scenary. Tour guide CJ was very, friendly, kind and informative. The journey was long, car was comfortable and guide was a good driver. I felt safe in the car and he stopped for toilet stops/breaks. Music during the journey was good, was for all ages.
