Omkring halvvejs mellem Ellijay og Dahlonega ud af GA Hwy 52, er det en nem tur fra enten I-575 N på den vestlige side af metro Atlanta område eller GA 400 i øst. Amicalola Falls State Park ligger i Dawsonville, cirka 70 km fra Atlanta og kun omkring 1 time og 20 minutters kørsel. Statsparken ligger i nærheden af populære byer i North Georgia som Dahlonega, Helen og Ellijay.
En naturelskers vidunderland, det er kun 8 miles fra Appalachian Trail og inden for Chattahoochee National Forest. Parken er opkaldt efter sin mest værdifulde funktion, Amicalola Falls - en storslået 729 fod vandfald, der er det tredje højeste kaskade vandfald øst for Mississippi River.

My family reserved through Viator and TripAdvisor for the tour which was canceled last minute with no alternative tour proposed. Poor management, no costumer care despite the high cost of the attraction, despite having reserved through viatorand paid in full in advance.
The whole tour was a scam. The night before departure, the agency Barbil Tours, working through TripAdvisor and Viator, contacted me to ask to change the date. We accepted, but they never honored their promise and canceled our trip at the very last moment with short notice. During our visit to Atlanta, we missed the opportunity to see the surrounding areas and are very disappointed about it. This was an absolute scam — do not fall into this trap.
The natural beauty of Georgia at its very best. Buddy, our guide was very friendly, always open to adapting the itinerary to include visits to national parks, quaint little towns, meal requests, ending at a perfect lookout point on Bell Mointain to watch an amazing sunset.
I had an amazing time! Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and very accommodating to our needs and preferences. He reached out a day before to ask which places we wanted to visit and even sent a detailed itinerary for the day. He remained flexible with any changes along the way, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Buddy was friendly, easygoing, and a true pleasure to tour with. I highly recommend him as a tour guide and driver for future trips

I booked this excursion and was so excited to see scenic Georgia. However, I waited and waited for my host at the pick up location and nobody showed up. I messaged them through the app and nobody responded. I am waiting now to see if they will refund my money or if I have to file a fraud claim with my cc. Disheartening to say the least and now I have to replan a whole day of my trip.
