Rejseplan
Afgang fra Vlore Lungomare til Llogara Nationalpark (45 min) Vi krydser Vlora Riviera, Radhime og Dukat.
Vi holder et stop i Llogara Toursit Village for at holde en kaffepause midt i nationalparken, hvor vi kan se forskellige typer alpine træer og hjorte.
Cross of Llogara Pass fra llogara Tourist Village (15 min)
Vi stopper i Panorama of Llogara Pass for at få en udsigt fra bjerget over hele den sydlige riviera.
Vi krydser fra Llogara Pass til Porto Palermo (45 min) den smukkeste by i den sydalbanske riviera som Dhermi, Vuno og Himare.
I Porto Palermo besøger vi slottet Ali Pasha af Tepelena og har en kort kaffe/frisk drink pause
Fra Porto Palermo til Blue Eye (1t 15 min) krydser vi resten af den sydalbanske riviera og dens smukke by som Borsh, Qeparo og Lukove.
Vi vil besøge The Blue Eye Natural Reserve, her er der restauranter og barer, vi kan vælge at spise frokost eller få en drink.
Fra Blue Eye til Gjirokaster (45 min.)
vi vil gå en tur i den gamle basar for at shoppe souvenirs eller smage noget typisk mad fra byen Gjirokastra.
Besøg Gjirokastras slot og museer inde i slottet.
Retur fra Gjirokaster til Vlore (1H 30 min)

There were no other participants to make the minimum of 4 persons, so my wife and I paid extra and got a private tour. We started at 9.00 and finished at 22.00. It was a long but really enjoyable day. Eugene is a wealth of knowledge, and Alexander is a wonderful and thoughtful driver. A highlight was seeing a magnificent golden eagle near the coast. Be aware that entry costs are not included in the tour fee. However, for the most part these are inexpensive. The €100 cost is great value for money when you consider the distance travelled and the great company. We had lots of interesting conversations. Instead of lunch, we shared a delicious dinner together in Gjirokastër. Try the frappe when you get to Porto Palermo!

Our trip was absolutely amazing. Me and my dad came to Albania for the first time and we saw trips4fun! We went in and decided we would do the blue eye trip in south Albania with our host Eugene and his wife Selda! They picked us up and took us around south Albania including stopping off at Sarande, Ksamil and the castle. They also took us to see the blue eye which was astonishing. The pair of them were incredible and were amazing hosts. They went above and beyond for us, making our trip so special and now I want to pass it on to you guys. Please, visit them! They are amazing and I will never forget our trip.

My experience didn't actually happen, they cancelled as not enough numbers but I only found out when the pickup didn't turn up. When I called to see what was happening, they apparently should have contacted me. I am being fully refunded.

Best tour guide and driver ever - vast knowledge of Albania's turbulent history, prompt pick-up from Vlore, very comfortable car. The place that stole my heart was the castle of Porto Palermo - absolutely breathtaking and the history is so interesting. Sarande is so beautiful and the Blue Eye was gorgeous - all the sounds of the insects and nature on the walk up to the Blue Eye - lots of beautiful blue dragonflies and butterflies. Can you spot the face with horns in my picture of the water? We stopped for a beer in the medieval village of Gjirokastra - beautiful market place - some lovely art pieces. This trip was excellent value for money as it covered such a large area of southern Albania. I absolutely loved it and recommend it highly.
