Fuld dag off The Beaten Track Mekong Delta.

Amazing day from start to finish. Prompt pick up from our hotel by our guide Chau. The information Chau gave us about Vietnam and surrounding countries was invaluable. There was no downside to any part of this trip. The bikes and trails were excellent. Kayaking was amazing along the river. The boat and the captain and his family were so welcoming and meeting all the ladies in the market. There was no downside to this trip. In all my years travelling I have never encountered such friendly and I’ve already said it, welcoming people as the Vietnamese. Outstanding all round. A definite must to see the Mekong Delta and local people.

After traveling from north to south through this beautiful country that is Vietnam, we can say that it is one of the activities most in line with what we were looking for. LOCAL HUMAN CONTACT, TOTAL CHANGE OF SCENERY, and SPORT. - Punctual pickup at our hotel at 7 AM - 2-hour trip in a clean and air-conditioned private car with a coffee/bathroom break at a local cafe - Mountain biking through orchards and farms - Meetings and exchanges with the locals - Small boat ride on the Mekong - Paddle in a kayak in complete SAFETY in the mangroves - Cai Be local market to see the REAL life of the locals EVERYTHING was there! This tour is highly recommended. We were picked up with a comfortable bus and a good driver. Lee is a very enthusiastic guide who speaks good English. He knows a lot to tell. The local market, the boat trip on the Mekong Delta, eating and drinking with local people and of course the bike ride. All very nice. Good quality bikes that are also suitable for us as great Europeans. They do what they promise. Off the beaten track; no tourist seen!!!

We had a wonderful experience on the tour all thanks to our guide, Joe. From the moment the day started, everything felt authentic and thoughtfully planned, allowing us to see a side of the Mekong Delta that felt much more local and genuine than the typical tourist routes. The scenery was beautiful, and we especially enjoyed traveling through the quieter villages and canals. It was a great opportunity to experience everyday life in the delta and learn more about the local culture. Unfortunately, my husband became unwell during the tour, and we had to shorten our trip. And Joe was accommodating. Although we weren't able to complete the full itinerary, the time we spent on the tour was memorable and enjoyable. We would happily recommend this tour to anyone looking for a more authentic Mekong Delta experience.

What a fantastic day out with Lee our guide and Oak our driver. Great van and coffee stop on the way to seeing authentic Vietnamese culture. Experiencing the Mighty Meekong and the local market . Cycling was great but boy it was hot for us kiwis. Food was really good from local produce. Thanks for the fantastic experience.

Can’t say enough good things about my experience with this. Loved being able to explore and push hard while biking and seeing local spots.

Such a great day to end our Vietnam adventure as a family of 4! (14 and 13 year old children) . Lee our guide was amazing and we felt very safe and comfortable the whole day. The river boat ride and meeting the captains wife was a highlight. As was the bike tour and kayaking. We went through the villages and really felt like we were in real Vietnam! The people and children are so friendly and we loved every minute. Would highly recommended if you are a sporty family. It was super hot but we were well looked after with lots of breaks and refreshing food provided. Can't wait to come back so the long bike tours with Lee and the team!

Just before TET New Year we had a great pleasure to take part in tour to the very heart of Mekong Delta. Our guide and driver Chau was very kind and helpul, so we didn't have to worry at all :-) It was the time with less tourists and more Vietnamese preparing for the feast week, so we had great opportunity to see the real life in the countryside. We took the boat to the floating market in Cai Be, then we went to one of the islands on the Mekong River, did some kayaking along canals where some fishermen were checking their nets and after all that water experience we made over 20 km by bike through narrow streets and paths in the neighbourhood of Cai Be. That was a fantastic day, although we were dead tired on the way back to Saigon.

This was quite a unique trip as I barely saw other tourists. It meant that we were off the beaten track! The tour operator had great communications, and reminded me where to meet and sent me photos after the tour. The trip started at 7am and finished at 6pm. We drove out to the Mekong river with a short coffee stopover. We then picked up our bike to cycle to the riverside. Hopped on a boat and got a great explanation of how the locals live off the river. We had a short excursion to a wet market. We then kayaked on a very peaceful strip of the river for an hour, with a short stop for fruits and water (or beer), before we kayaked some more. We got back to have some local snacks and cycled to lunch. Local lunch with such fresh food. Cycled to a temple and then back to the car. Everything was taken care of. I had a great time.
