Cat Ba National Park ligger på øen Cat Ba og er anerkendt af UNESCO som et verdens biosfærereservat med et rigt og unikt landskab. Området omfatter tropiske fugtige skove, vådområder, mangrover og økosystemer af koralrev. Den nemmeste måde at udforske de fantastiske skønheder af Cat Ba ø er ved at vandre fra Cat Ba by gennem junglen, se vilde dyr og udforske det lokale liv, ved denne rute til Viet Hai Village og derefter tage en båd tilbage. Denne tur vil være et eventyr fra Cat Ba by og også er en interessant oplevelse, du bør prøve.

8h00 - 8h20: Vores bus og tour guide vil afhente dig fra dit hotel i byen Cat Ba og starte rejsen til Cat Ba nationalpark. 9 : 00. Ankomst National Park, Vores guide vil hjælpe dig med at tage adgangsbilletter og begynde vandreture fra indgangen til Cat Ba nationalpark. På vejen vil vi passere 3 toppe kaldet: Ang Vat, May Bau, Ang Phay hvor vi kan tage en kort pause i 5 - 10 minutter for at tage billeder, og opleve mangfoldigheden af udsigten. Ruten til Frog Pond tager omkring 2,5 timer. Undervejs er chancen for at nyde fugleture, sightseeing i den primære skov.
11 : 30. Du ankommer til Frog Pond – den største ferskvandssø på øen Cat Ba. Du vil se hundredvis af Va Nuoc træer vokse på vandet, du vil kun se denne slags træ her i hele Cat Ba nationalpark. Frog Pond er også kendt med omkring 400 store og små øer og 130 små gyldne sandstrande. Alle skaber et smukt naturbillede, og ligger på ruten trans-skov fra nationalparkens centrum til Viet Hai landsby. 12 : 00. Efter en 30 minutters pause vil vi fortsætte med at gå til Viet Hai landsby (ca. 4 km mere). Vejen herfra til Viet Hai landsby vil være let at gå som der er ingen opstigning længere, stien er for det meste nedstigning og flad.
13 : 00. Kom til Viet Hai Village og mød de venlige lokale mennesker, der bor i nationalparken. Nyd frokosten med hjemmelavet mad på et lokalt hus i Viet Hai landsby, efter frokosten vil vi cykle for at udforske denne gamle landsby med næsten 100 huse, prøv fiskemassage oplevelse i den kølige strøm eller lokale fiskebassin. 14 : 00. Start cykling 5 km fra Viet Hai Village til Viet Hai havn, dette er den smukkeste vej til cykling.
15 : 00. Båden vil stoppe ved et flydende hus, vi vil se det lokale liv på Lan Ha-bugten, tage en kajak og udforske Lan Ha-bugten - en af de smukkeste bugter i verden. 16 : 30. Båden vil tage dig tilbage til Cat Ba by, på vej tilbage vil vi besøge Cai Beo Floating landsby, den ældste flydende landsby i Viet Nam med hundredvis af huse på vandet. 17 : 00. Ankomme i Ben Beo havn, komme i bilen for at vende tilbage til dit hotel i byen Cat Ba.

Incredible experience, the guide was very interesting and exciting, the weather was wonderful, the kayak and the beach were heavenly!!
Really fun day out! Reasonable pricing for everything we did, took a boat around the archipelago, got to experience kayaking around some spots to get closer & see more private areas boats cant reach, provided a delicious lunch, swam in the water towards a secluded beach, visited the fishing docks, fed & pet the fishes, relaxed ontop of the boat in the sun with the breeze, and finished with a cooking class! Honestly so much fun, so many activities, experienced surrounded by islands. Our group size wasnt big at all which I preferred but it increases on busier days ofcourse. Very friendly staff, especially Hana who gave lots of fun facts and was allround a very cheerful host 😁 Thank you!
It was a really nice trip. Hana was very helpful and nice, she gave us nice informations ! thank you to hana. nonetheless, it’s quite disappointing that we had to pay for our drinks (and the bartender was very impatient on paying), when we payed so much for the trip. not having water provided in a hot day by the sea is for me a red flag. other than that, had a great time !

The day cruise from Cat Ba island was great! All logistics from our hotel door in Hanoi to the cruise and back were organized and it was seamless. The cruise was beautiful, the kayaking was awesome and all the food was tasty. Our guide Hana was especially knowledgeable and kind. We highly recommend this excursion and having Hana as your guide. It was well worth the cost!

This was an awesome daytrip and planned very well. Hana was an excellent guide and knew so much about the area. Kayaking and swimming around the bay was peaceful and beautiful and it really felt like a protected area and not just a tourist trap. Cannot recommend enough!
