Dette er en privat tur kun for dig om vores største mexicanske katolske tro gåtur i den næstmest besøgte Marian distrikt i verden beliggende i Tepeyac's Hill. Guadalupe basilika huser flere bygninger, kirker, kapeller, et museum og flere skulpturer. Vi besøger den monumentale klokke, det første tempel, den gamle basilika, den nye basilika, haverne med små vandfald, kapellet på toppen af bakken og det lille tempel af hellig vand. Den oprindelige billede af jomfruen af Guadalupe er placeret i den nye basilika og dette er æret af millioner af troende. Du vil gøre dine bønner foran Jomfruen af Guadalupe og modtage velsignelser med hellig vand. Du kan købe religiøse artikler inde i Basílica. Vi vender tilbage til mødestedet i metrobussen.

Mødestedet ligger ved siden af den store statue af pave Johannes Paul II. Vi besøger hele det religiøse kompleks: Den nye basilika (hvor er den oprindelige og mirakuløse taka fra 1531), den gamle og første basilika, Det hellige område, hvor jomfruen af Guadalupe dukkede op til Saint Juan Diego i 1531 og hvor er placeret den første kapel, som Guadalupe anmodede om at bygge. Vi vil gå op ad Tepeyac Hill (med små vandfald og haver). På toppen vil vi besøge kapellet af blomster, og du vil have en smuk udsigt over Mexico City. Dette er stedet, hvor Juan Diego huskede de mirakuløse blomster i sin kappe. Vi besøger den monumentale skulptur kaldet The Offering med to vandfald. Vi vil afslutte vores besøg med den lille kapel dedikeret til det hellige vand. Du vil have mulighed for at købe religiøse ting inde i det religiøse kompleks. Du kan anmode os tid til at høre massen.

The Basilica is a very large complex. We were so grateful to our guide Martin. He was very knowledgeable about the history, culture and religious heritage and genuine in effort to make sure we enjoyed our time there. We very much enjoyed our tour and he even helped translate our needs for shopping in the store and helped capture our experience with photos! It was fantastic!!

Lots of walking and worth it. There is more to see than meets the eye. Definitely recommend having a tour guide. Ours was wonderful! His name was Gabriel.

This company canceled my tour about 18 hours before it was scheduled to start and gave no specific reason. I had stayed an extra day on this trip to enjoy the tour having changed a plane reservation and added another night to my hotel stay.

Was a little apprehensive about the meeting point details of this tour as there are conflicting information. On several emails it specifically identified the an entrance just outside the Basilica (the one I used as the destination to our Uber ride) however there was also a mention of the Statue of Pope John-Paul II. Had to confirm via telephone that it was indeed in front of the statue. Our guide Diego was quite competent and was knowledgeable about the whole place. Since it was a Sunday he had to rearrange his normal routine to accommodate the thick crowds which worked out well.
