Efter at have hentet alle deltagerne, går vi ud og drikker kaffe, hvor I kan købe morgenmad, snacks og vand til dagen. Vi besøger også tøjudlejningsbutikken, så I kan leje det tøj og udstyr, I har brug for til dette sneeventyr.
Ved dette stop forlader vi dem, der skal tilbringe hele dagen i El Colorado, et af de mest symbolske skisportssteder i Chile, beliggende i Andesbjergene, meget tæt på Santiago, ideelt for dem, der ønsker at opleve sneen, stå på ski, snowboard eller blot nyde det snedækkede bjerg med familie eller venner.
Ved dette stop sætter vi alle af, der skal tilbringe dagen i Farellones Snow Park. Selvom der er muligheder for skiløb og snowboarding, kræver de fleste aktiviteter ikke erfaring, hvilket gør det til en inkluderende og spændende oplevelse for besøgende, der bare vil lege i sneen og nyde landskabet.
Valle Nevado er et af de største og mest moderne skisportssteder i Chile og Sydamerika, beliggende i Andesbjergene omkring 46-60 km øst for Santiago. Den ligger mere end 3.000 m over havets overflade og er designet til at tilbyde komplette sneoplevelser, fra begyndere til eksperter. I took 6 ski day trips with Condor Explorer and had 6 wonderful experiences. Jesus was my guide, and he was prompt, knowledgeable, trustworthy, friendly, and fluent in both Spanish and English. For example, on a heavy snow day Jesus installed chains on all four wheels of the tour van, even though only two were required. When he saw that a car in front of us was having dangerous trouble with traction, Jesus got out and gave the driver some advice on how to drive in the snow that clearly helped. Later, when he saw that another tour van was having trouble changing a flat tire, Jesus again got out and showed them how to adapt their jack to get the wheel off. He even helped a local business by suggesting that they open early to offer passengers breakfast. As far as I can tell, everybody loves Jesus and I can see why. He's a really cool guy. Jesus is also an expert driver and trained in emergency medicine. Ultimately, I can think of no higher praise than to say that in the Andes mountains I would trust Jesus with my life. When I decide to return to Chile, the first thing I will do is book a tour with Condor Explorer. --- I took six one-day ski excursions with Condor Explorer and had six wonderful experiences. Jesús was my guide; he was punctual, expert, reliable, and friendly, in addition to speaking both Spanish and English fluently. For example, on a day with heavy snowfall, Jesús put chains on all four wheels of the van, even though they were only required on two. Upon seeing that a vehicle in front of us was having dangerous traction problems, Jesús got out and advised the driver on how to drive in the snow, which proved clearly helpful. Later, upon observing that another tourist van was having difficulty changing a flat tire, Jesús got out again and taught them how to adapt their hydraulic jack to remove the wheel. He even helped a local business by suggesting that they open early to offer breakfast to the passengers. From what I could tell, everyone adores Jesús, and I understand perfectly why: he is a fantastic person. Jesús is also an expert driver and has training in emergency medicine.
