Startende omkring kl. 8 fra Pokhara (den vigtigste by til Annapurna Himalaya-området), kører vi omkring 2 timer i bil/jeep til Nayapool for at begynde Ghorepani Poon Hill-vandringen. Vi holder frokostpause ved Sudame eller Ramghai, og vi fortsætter med at vandre til Ulleri (2100m), De første 3 timer vil være almindelig let gåtur og derefter en stejl tur op til Ulleri op ad bakke starter snart fra Tikhedunga. Det siges at have 3000 stentrin. Overnatning i lodge. Måltider inkluderet: Morgenmad, frokost og aftensmad.
Det er en lidt udfordrende vandretur op som på første dag; så går vi frodig skov af rhododendron, ege og bambus skove. Vi går tidligt i seng, da vi næste dag klatrer op til Poon Hill-topmødet. Overnatning i lodge. Måltider inkluderet: Morgenmad, frokost og aftensmad.
Før daggry stiger vi ud af vores hyggelige soveposer, der er stablet højt med tæpper, klædt på og går op omkring 45 minutters stigning til toppen af Poon Hill (3210m) for at se solopgang. Dette er den opfattelse, som hele Ghorepani Poon Hill-vandringen er baseret på, og det er hvert skridt værd at komme dertil. Vi vandrer ned igen og spiser morgenmad på lodgen, og tager afsted til Tadapani. Overnatning i lodge ved Tadapani. Måltider inkluderet: Morgenmad, frokost og aftensmad.
Vi går langs en skyggefuld skovsti, efterfulgt af terrasserede marker med majs og kartofler til Ghandruk. Herfra har vi en fantastisk udsigt over Annapurna South, Hiunchuli og Machhapuchhare. Det er en stor bosættelse i Gurung, en etnisk gruppe i Nepal. Det er en meget berømt Gurung-landsby med terrasser og en fremragende udsigt over bjergene. Efter ankomsten er det muligt at tage en kort gåtur for at udforske landsbyen, besøge et kulturmuseum og et kloster. Overnatning i lodge i Ghandruk. Gå ned ad bakke fra Ghandruk til Syauli Bazaar og derefter flad behagelig gåtur til Nayapul og kør tilbage civilisationen i Pokhara. Hvil og slap af efter 5 dages vandring. Måltider inkluderet: Morgenmad og frokost

This is our first time in Nepal, and usually we prefer hiking on our own. So in the first moment we were not pleased to read about the new nepalese 'guide is mandatory' policy. But now after doing the poon hill trek with Linkage Tours and our guide Bidur, we think different: It was such a pleasure: Bidur gave us so much information about nepalese living and culture, always organised the best lodges and teahouses and took care for us in such a nice way- so we are full of amazing impressions. Thank you to Praktik from linkage tours and especially to our guide Bidur- we had a really good time! PS: What we learned: Slowly slowly is the best way to reach the top- and 'nepali flat' is not flat at all 😊

We recently went on a 5-day trek to poon hill with Linkage Travels which we can highly recommend! Our guide Rajesh was very attentive to us and our needs, knew a lot about the area and made us feel safe the whole trek through. On top of that, we had the lovely porter Harry, who spread positive energy with his big smile and warmth at all times. The accommodation was good (although a bit cold - we brought extra rental jackets), the food was nice and the all-inclusive price unbeatable. Thanks a lot to the whole team!

One of the famous trek from pokhara... I compared price and everything.. but I found the well organised trek in reasonable price... and I choose it... similarly expectations meet my reality... Highly Recommended for Trekkers in Nepal
I absolutely loved my trek with Bidur. I originally booked a three day trek to Poon Hill with my friend but extended it to six days because I was having such a great time. Bidur was very knowledgeable and reassuring to have alongside us the whole time. Very respectful and attentive - I couldn't have asked for a better guide. He always made sure we were happy and well fed and he was great company too - it wouldn't have been the same without him! The trek itself was one of the best things I've ever done - the views are indescribable and the trekking was very therapeutic - a phenomenal experience! It was easy to organise the trek through Linkage and was good value. Everything went to plan and I would highly recommend to anyone out there looking to trek in Nepal.
