Fra Jujuy: Serranías del Hornocal og bakken med 14 farver

Vi begynder turen til bakken med 14 farver, også kendt som Serranías del Hornocal. Vi tager afsted fra byen Salta for at komme ind i provinsen Jujuy, hvor vi besøger Quebrada de Humahuaca, et UNESCOs verdensarvssted, vi passerer gennem byen Volcán, Purmamarca, hvor vi finder den majestætiske Cerro de los 7 Farver; Tilcara; Humahuaca, den største by i kløften; Uquía, en lille by, hvor de gamle malerier af Arquebusier Angels bor; Huacalera, hvor vi træder på det imaginære snit af Stenbukkens vendekreds og til sidst La Paleta del Pintor i Maimará. Når du når Uquía, går du over til et 4x4-køretøj, hvor vejen til Hornocal begynder at nyde den storslåede panoramaudsigt. På tilbagevejen er der et stop i Humahuaca i 20 minutter. Det anbefales at medbringe mad til frokost, da der ikke er tid til at stoppe ved en restaurant i Humahuaca.

Vi søger efter passagerer og begynder turen til Quebrada de Humahuaca. Et af hovedpunkterne er Volcán, Tumbaya og især Purmamarca, hvor Cerro de los 7 Colors ligger. Der vil vi have dagens første vigtige stop.

Det anbefales at medbringe en frokost eller noget let til frokost, da der ikke er tid til at stoppe ved en restaurant i Humahuaca.

Excursion very well organized, on time with an enthusiastic guide (Fabio). However, the duration of the stop at the Serranía Del Hornocal should last more than 20 minutes

We enjoyed the excursion with Fabio as guide. He is energetic and not stingy with comments. He looks after his group very well. However, the stop at the Serranías lookout is far too short. A break of at least 30 minutes should be available instead of the 20 minutes allotted. This is why we award 4 stars.

Ask for Fabio - he takes great pleasure in showing local inside tips on picture perfect spots, tasty dishes, and flexes throughout the tour to make sure you feel comfortable when it is least hot to walk between plazas.

The tour itself was nice and really beautiful – the Serranías del Hornocal are impressive and definitely worth seeing. However, it was stated on the booking page that visiting the Pucará de Tilcara is part of the tour. However, this service was not provided during the tour. In order to be able to visit the sight anyway, I had to pay the entrance fee myself on site. This was disappointing as I relied on the services advertised in advance. Overall a nice tour, but the deviation from the description significantly clouds the overall impression.
Thanks to Fabio we had a wonderful time only complaint was driver needs tool box to fix problems the rest no complain beautiful trip

It’s a long day but worth it to see the stunning scenery and landscapes, in particular the mountain of 14 colours which looks just like it does in the pictures

On today's full-day trip to Humahuaca with Hornocal, Soledad accompanied us. Informative, attentive to everyone. She is wonderful. It is worth seeing those beautiful mountains, taking a look at them and the winding road from 4350m. There is little time, and it would be great to stay longer and walk through the charming streets of those small towns. Snezana from Serbia
