Francesca welcomes you into her kitchen, gives some work to do to prepare a fine meal. We would do it again in a heartbeat.

We had amazing time with Francesca! 😊 We made tiramisu and 2 types of pasta from the very scratch. We felt truly Italian culture inside Franchesca's kitchen. 10/10 cooking class. Francesca is so passionate about cooking and you can really tell. This class is something we will never forget and it was the highlight of our entire trip over the last 2 weeks. We made two types of pasta and tiramisu for dessert. Everything was absolutely delicious. If we ever come back to Palermo we will take another one of Francesca’s classes. Unforgettable and so much fun.
This past week, my family made a first time pilgrimage together to Sicily to see where our ancestors were from. We decided to stay in a rustic compound in Santa Flavia, bordering Porticello, where my great grandparents were born. Unfortunately, the weather was uncooperative for the most part and we needed to find alternate entertainment while we dodged the raindrops. Fortunately, my sister came upon Francesca‘s in-home, cooking class experience, in neighboring Bulgaria. Bulgaria streets are extremely narrow and challenging to navigate for us North Americans, but the white knuckle drive was worthwhile once we arrived in Francesca’s gated residence. (Leave yourself a little extra time as nothing in this area of the world is overly intuitive). After introductions and proper outfitting of the aprons, we were ready to go. Francesca‘s English was excellent and no directions were missed due to a language barrier. We started with a delicious homemade tiramisu and finished with housemaid fettuccine as well as handmade ravioli completely made from scratch. Two different housemaid sauces were created and both delicious! A nice touch, and something that we all very much appreciated, was the fact that Francesca followed up with us via WhatsApp to send us photos of our experience, and the specific recipes for everything she had taught us. We would highly recommend this cooking class to anyone visiting this part of the world.

It was very nice to make fresh and authentic pasta with Francesca. She is an excellent cook and teacher. Our cooked dishes were actually among other things the best food during the whole holiday. This was a very small group cooking experience with a friendly and generous chef, Francesca. We made all aspects of the dinner and dessert with her instruction and it was delicious! She is worth the drive out from Palermo.
This was absolutely amazing. Francesca was very accommodating with our time, she then welcomed us into her home and kitchen. It's a beautiful space - with lemon trees and olives growing outside. She was patient and informative about the food preparation, she answered our questions and she made us cook an amazing meal. My 2 teenagers were absolutely thrilled. So were the parents!
