North End, bogstaveligt talt det nordlige distrikt, er et af de ældste kvarterer i Boston.
Paul Revere House, 1676 – et af de sidste rester af kolonitiden. Den berømte revolutionær boede der fra 1780'erne til 1800'erne.
Det historiske fodgængerrum til ære for den berømte midnatstur (1775)
Den første kirke i North End blev bygget på dette sted i 1650. Gennem hele kolonitiden var den den mest indflydelsesrige kirke i det nordøstlige og en højborg for den puritanske tro.
Copp's Hill, opført i 1632, er det højeste punkt i Bostons North End. På toppen af denne bakke ligger en gammel kirkegård, der dateres tilbage til 1659. Fra Copp's Hill Terrace kan du beundre et storslået panorama af Charles River, såvel som Bunker Hill Obelisk og USS Constitution på den modsatte bred.
This guided tour was great… Maria walked us along Boston's Freedom Trail with a small group of French people, all equipped with earpieces allowing us to follow her even from a distance while listening to all her commentary on the different sites, but especially on the entire history of Boston. A beautiful 2.5-hour walk through this beautiful city at a pleasant pace to enjoy the sites. Do not hesitate if you wish to discover Boston along this path crossing the city…

We had a wonderful guided tour to cover Boston downtown main sight seeings and secrets. My family does not speak English so it was very helpful. You just don’t see time passing! She mixes with talent the great dates of American history and the small human stories that make the story alive and captivating. At each stop on the trail, we leave with a new nugget in mind. And icing on the cake: everything happens in French, which is rare and precious in Boston. It is a real comfort to be able to grasp everything in nuances, ask questions and exchange freely. Whether you are visiting Boston or have lived there for years, this visit with Maria is an experience not to be missed. I warmly recommend it to all Francophones curious about history. Maria knows Boston at her fingertips and knows how to interest everyone. I myself was with high school students, they learned a lot and appreciated Maria’s informed comments. An incredible walk along the path to freedom and through the picturesque neighborhoods of Beacon Hill and Back Bay. She knows how to show you secret places and transports us into the rich 17th century history of Boston. I highly recommend it.
