Excellent tour with very comfortable bud and extremely knowledgeable guides. Lots of history and amazing views.
The tour itself was amazing. Our guide Petra, our driver and the guide at the Alhambra Juan were amazing. During the long drive they constantly inform you with fun facts about the city, however there is also time to rest. The bus is very comfortable, and the driver stops halfway so everyone is able to get something to drink or go to the toilet. The Alhambra is definitely a must stop when sight seeing and our guide Juan made the experience even better with his enthusiasm and gives everyone time to take pictures and video’s.
Hello! We just wanted to thank you for taking the time to write this review. We're a small, local, family-owned business, and every comment like this helps us so much! Thank you for your kind words to our team, they remember your visit and hopes to see you soon! We are very grateful for clients like you and we hope to have you with us next time you visit Andalusia! Thank you again!
Very interesting but a little too long for me. If possible, you may offer to the group the possibility to have a less long visit.

I recommend the tour, unavoidable, superb day with very friendly, kind and listening companion. We chose to visit the cathedral at lunchtime to have time to see Granada in addition to the sights visited.
Given the commuting time from Seville to Grenada, this is an early starting tour. Our tour guide (Abby) and driver (Jesus) picked us up from the pre arranged hotel pick up point and everything kick started on time. As we all began to slowly wake up after the pit stop, Abby began to give us a very interesting historical guide of Granada and Andalusia as a whole. You can tell she is very passionate about the appreciation of the history of the area and this made it more interesting to listen to and take in. As we arrived in Granada we were able to roam freely for a while to take in the beautiful sights of the narrow winding streets and then took a short yet very interesting tour with Abby as she gave us a clear insight into how the locals live either in the town or the gypsies in the surrounding hills. It's always good to get an appreciation of the history and conflict that took place in the formation and transformation of a city and with Abby's heartfelt guide through the town, you definitely got this. As we then arrived in Alhambra, we then got a specialist tour guide that took us through the mesmeric grounds of the palaces. This is something you have to see to fully appreciate. It really is special, especially on a clear sunny day. The only thing I think they could work on here is splitting the tour into Spanish and English as although our tour guide continuously switched from on to the other and gave a great tour, it could have flowed more smoothly if it were broken down into smaller groups where there wasn't a need to wait around for her to switch from one language to another. Having said all this, it was a great tour nonetheless. Overall a great day and very much recommended.
Hello! Thank you very much for your review, we are pleased that you had a good time in Granada with Abby and Jesús. It´s a huge satisfaction due to we try our best in order to give our customers the best service. We can't always split the tour in two languages, it depends on how many people are, if we don't reach an amount of people in one language we've to put both together. However we're very glad to read that it was a great tour and would like to welcome you in Andalusia again. Thank you very much for your trust in Andalsur. Best regards, ANDALSUR EXCURSIONS

This was a great trip, having the extra day in Granada was the best to be able to explore and enjoy time on our own in this wonderful city. The main complaint was disorganization. Once at the Ahambra Palace if you did not watch close you could easily lose your group prior to the tour even starting. After the tour the time spent locating and finding the ride back on the bus again was very disorganized and confusing. Luckily we stayed and our ride was called to take us to the hotel for the night and the rest of our rides and pickups went without a problem. This is a city well worth the trip and the overnight.

Whilst we've rated the tour highly (which is mainly due to the fact of the beautiful location and activities) the tour company was disorganised. Our pick up time in Seville wasn't confirmed with us, they didn't arrange our paper work with the hotel so the hotel in Granada and the hotel staff argued with us wanting payment, or confirmation of booking that was never provided to us bynthe tour company, and to top it off the tour company forgot to pick us up to take us back to Seville.

Firstly, we very much enjoyed the bus trip to Granada. The guide Clara was very welcoming and gave an informative commentary en route. We also enjoyed The Alhambra tour, especially the radio link to the guide so we could look around, take photos and still hear all the information. We also enjoyed the Arabic Baths (once we found them) and the walking tour on Sunday morning.
However, we were very disappointed with the location of the hotel ( Hotel Real de Alhambra) - it was too far out from town, needing the bus and taxis to get around. A hotel much closer in would be better for our situation when we weren't travelling with the whole group so we could have used our spare time more efficiently.
Also a guide was supposed to meet us In Plaza Santa Ana to take us to the baths a few minutes before 6:00 pm. But by 6:10 no-one had showed up. We asked a guide from another company where the baths were and we found them. However by this time it was 20 minutes late so we missed the full session.

The pick up to come home went very smoothly.

Unfortunately this was not a "2 day Granada Tour" by the supplier. Instead, Viator subcontracted with local operators, and the reliability of these varied enormously. The Alhambra itself is, of course, magnificent, and the tour guide on site was fantastic. But we were required to meet different local operators who did not show up for two of the three meeting points. (We arrived 15-30 min. early) The hotel was not as advertised. Information concerning the return trip to Seville was shifted and we found the bus only by chance (we recognized the stickers a fellow traveler was wearing). Attempts to contact folks were fruitless. The Alhambra is obviously worth visiting, but doing so on this trip is a risky proposition.
