Fra San Jose: Zipline, Horseback, ATV, Surfing, & Chocolate Tour

I really wanted to give this 5 stars because the experience itself was wonderful! My family and I chose the zipline and the horseback ride and we loved it! The horses knew what they were doing hahaha. Thank goodness. It was an hour long horseback ride. It was an easy stroll, but the horses get excited when they know they are close to home and sometimes runs to it, so just make sure yoiu hold on to the reins and the saddle. For the zipline, We thought it was going to be a 'baby' zipline but we were taken up to the top of the mountain and zipped through ten platforms. I had some anxiety and trepidation at first because this was my first time but it was truly enjoyable. Will do it again! Just make sure that you follow instructions well and keep your dominant hand behind your head. I could not do this so I had to keep going backwards but it was fun! The reason I gave this four stars instead of five was because of the lunch. It was advertised as buffet lunch, but we had to put in an order for individual meals. Imagine the time spent with about 100 people waiting for their food. So we were late for our zipline but thank goodness the guys waited for our group. If they did not want to give out an all you can eat dish, the least they could have done was have all the plates ready for a quick pick up. That was so disappointing as I was anxious trying to make it to zipline in time. We really didn't get to enjoy our meals.

This excursion exceeded my expectations. Wonderful customer service from beginning to end. An "above and beyond' attitude from everyone we encountered. Our driver Diego was super kind and accommodating. I will go here again in the future with my family.

Super fun! Diego our driver was so nice and would make any stops necessary like going to the bathroom or grabbing breakfast real quick. The people at the park were so nice as well! They made us feel safe and have a good time while doing the zipline/ ATV. I’m glad I took a chance on this!

Outstanding day from start to finish. Everything was very well organized and thoughtfully planned. Daniel was an excellent ATV tour guide and made the experience both fun and exciting. The surfing lesson was also fantastic, and the instructors were patient and encouraging. A special thank you to Diego, our driver from San José — truly first-class service, always professional, friendly, and punctual. One of the highlights of our Costa Rica trip. Highly recommend!

Loved the tour! We did the ATV and Zip lining, and we had a blast. The tour guides were great and super nice! Lunch was a 10/10 and included a whole meal with fish, beans, plantains, salad, vegetables, and rice. 10/10 experience, and would come again!

This was actually an 'adventure park', which I didn't realize when booking. The zipline was challenging. Because of the way they do it, it was hard to control. It was fun, but I'd choose another methodology next time. The Chocolate presentation was cute. Kia (not sure I'm spelling that right) and Jordan were lovely, kind, and so sweet. I wasn't feeling well, and they accommodated me readily and they were terrific, and the chocolate was really nice! Overall it was WAY too expensive for what we got.

My friends and I did ATV and Ziplining , let’s just say we have the time of our lives. Our ATV instructor was Juan and he was amazing . Zipling was truly an amazing experience overall. The instructor all were fun and extremely helpful. Overall I’d do again and again and again

It was a very fun day, the activities were good and we had a great time. Very friendly staff.

The drive from the hotel (by airport) was about 2 hours due to construction closer to Herradura. The activities we did (horseback riding and ATV) were nicely planned and guided by experts. The entire trip was an excellent experience.
