The tour was unforgettable! Fabio was a wonderful and gracious guide to this hidden gem of Italy. His knowledge and excitement for Abruzzo are on display from the moment you meet him. He was punctual at picking us up from our hotel in Rome. His van is clean and spacious. He took the time to get to know us so that he could fine tube the day to our needs. The views are amazing and I will never forget this trip.
Our tour of Abruzzo with Fabio was the highlight of our entire trip to Italy, even ahead of the Vatican and the Colosseum! The breathtaking mountain scenery, beautiful castle, and authentic local experiences made for an unforgettable day. The highlight was an incredible lunch that Fabio cooked over an open flame, showcasing the region's amazing food and hospitality. When our family voted on our favorite tour of the trip, this one came out on top. Fabio's knowledge, warmth, and passion for Abruzzo made the experience truly special. If you're looking for an authentic Italian adventure, this tour is a must-do!

This tour with Fabio to the Abruzzo region was our favorite part of our Rome vacation. Fabio communicated with us before we left, picked us up from our hotel, and provided snacks during our drive in his comfortable and clean van. He was very knowledgeable amd answered all our questions. The 3 stops were incredible. You'll love every part of this trip! He took pictures of us. The BBQ lunch was absolutely delicious and filling. The castle with its views were unbelievable. The village was authentic Italy. Fabio did not rush us. He was very kind and helpful. As 3 ladies traveling alone, we felt very safe. I highly recommend booking this trip. You will not regret it.

I don't even know where to begin! Fabio picked us up in front of our hotel and off we went to Abruzzo! This region of Italy is very special to me as my grandparents are from here. Just to breathe the same air was emotional for me. Fabio understood how personal and important this adventure was for me and he went out of his way to really bring Abruzzo to life. He is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about Abruzzo. When we weren't able to stop at one of our scheduled points of interest, he offered to take us to Sulmona, which is my grandfather's hometown. I was blown away by this act of kindness. If you are traveling to Italy and want to experience something a little different, a little more special, please allow Fabio to share Abruzzo with you ♥️🤍💚

My Husband wanted to visit his roots in Abruzzo while we were staying in Rome. From the moment he picked us up from our hotel Fabio truly exceeded our expectations with the tour. We were in awe of the spectacular views that Abruzzo has to offer. Fabio was extremely knowledgeable, accommodating and made our day so so special. He even made some extra stops for us to see a spectacular looking river and a beautiful field of poppies. This is the best tour we have taken in Italy. The Abruzzo region is beautiful. Fabio chose some of the best spots for you to get an appreciation of the region. We stayed Rome and it was nice to get out of the city to see another part of Italy. It’s beautiful with panoramic landscapes, quaint, historical towns and the most friendly people. This is our second tour to Abruzzo with Fabio and I would highly recommend.

We had always wanted to see Abbruzzo but we only had one day available. Fabio picked us up at our hotel in Rome. It was a private tour for my wife & myself. During the 2 hour drive, he was a font of information about what we saw along the way & what we were going to see. But nothing could prepare us for the beauty we experienced in Gran Sasso National Park. Each place we stopped had gorgeous views, the most breathtaking of which was Lo Specchio d'Abbruzzo (the mirror of Abbruzzo). Lunch followed at Ristoro Mucciante, where he cooked sausages & Arrosticini for us; absolutely delicious 😋! We then went to the most physically challenging attraction of the day- Rocca Calascio, the highest castle in Italy. Fabio helped my wife to negotiate the steep climb to the top, stopping when we needed to rest. We were rewarded with even more spectacular views. The day concluded at Santo Stefano di Sessino where Fabio told us the fascinating history of this beautiful little town. The ride home was filled with stories & recommendations for things to do & places to eat in Rome. It was a truly the best one day tour we've ever taken.

This was one of the top highlights of our trip to Italy!! My family heritage is from this region which made it that much more special to me!! The scenery was so calming and relaxing - the three stops were experiences that you can’t even put into words and Fabio was the more gracious, knowledgeable host!! A must do when in Italy! See the areas no one sees!!
