This was a perfect experience and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a sunset cruise of the Amalfi Coast! Our guide, Giacomo, was very communicative leading up to the tour and did a good job explaining exactly where to meet him. He was on time and friendly from the very beginning. We didn't want to splurge on a private tour, but our boat had only 6 people, me, my husband, and two other couples, so it still felt very intimate and private. We were offered soft drinks, water and champagne immediately, as well as some light snacks, and then limoncello later on in the ride. Giacomo regularly checked in and offered us more beverages (maybe not unlimited but we were not left wanting by any means)! The ride was great, it did not feel rushed at all, in fact we sat in the water for a bit by Positano appreciating the sunset and getting pictures and the tour went a little longer than advertised. I couldn't imagine a better experience, especially for the price, and we'd absolutely take this tour again if we are in Positano!
Hi Giuliana, I'm Glad to read your detailed explanation of the great experience you have done with us, and I wish to clarify that we have many alcoholic drinks on board but are not unlimited.
We waited for 15 minutes at the location and no one was there to pick us up. We had to call and they said they cancelled for everyone else because of “rain” but forgot to cancel for us. They quickly sent a boat to give us a ride. I would hardly say there was unlimited drinks and food— there was one bottle of wine for my husband and I to split. There was a couple bags of chips. It’s fine if the they show up, but not everything they’re selling it as.
Dear Jennifer, we have done the cancellation to all at last moment for bad weather for the passing shower in the afternoon before the begining of the sunset group tour, unfortunately we cannot predict the weather. Anyways as soon we have seen the rain finish and I received your call I organize immediately a boat only for you in 15 minutes. So the departure of the tour was schedule at 18:30 and you were at 18:45 already on the big boat only you and your boyfriend as a private sunset boat tour even if you pay as a small group boat tour (price for person), I think you should be happy of this! Then you have done the sunset boat tour untill 20:45 so of two hours as clearly state in the sunset group boat tour and no other companies does it of two hours in Positano. Just for clarification to all travellers and guests reading this answer, we have a lots of drinks on board: Prosecco, Beers, Limoncello, Aperol spritz, soft drinks in the fridge and in the ice box, these are for you and there are manys, the same for dry snacks; peanuts, chips and other type, of course we don't serve sandwiches on board, to eat on board is forbidden to keep clean the boat. Regarding the cancellation we make always full refund in case of for bad weather in case you weren't going. We apologize for the inconvinient dear Jennifer and we try always to give a good experience to all guests, I'm sorry if was not your case, but we are open for constructive criticism by our guests so we can improve as much as possible our service.
