Fra Marrakech: Rejser til Ouarzazate og Ait Benhaddou

Beskrivelse

We have spent a pleasant day visiting these villages, Our guide “Don” Omar has been very attentive and it has been a pleasure to meet him.
Very nice trip and friendly guides. Khalid speaks many languages, is very nice and communicative. The place as such is amazing. Especially the view from the top of Ait Benhaddou.
Professional guide sharing history, culture, and hidden gems, creating authentic and truly memorable travel experiences for every guest
The experience was excellent and so was our driver Schafek. I would recommend it to anyone who wants with a minimum cost to discover Morocco's countryside.
Nice day out. The scenery is breathtaking. We couldn’t access the Kasbaha as there is a movie being filmed. It’s a long day but worthwhile doing to see the countryside
Great trip out to Ouarzazate to see Aït Benhaddou and learn more about the Berber/Imazighen people and their culture. Definitely see why so many films are shot out there! Wish we could've seen inside the Kasbah too, would've been good to know beforehand that it's closed for renovations due to an earthquake some years ago. Still really enjoyed the trip out though and all the guides were great, informateive and patient yet moved us along at the right pace.
The escort Tarek great person, kind, polite and helpful to every request, clarifications and advice...top
Overall it was very disappointing and so not worth the money. We were picked up in a lovely van, transferred to another one which was pretty poor - 3 seats were broken, the aircon was mediocre at best. Late leaving Marrakesh. Stopped about every 60 minutes which was good but only 1 which where it was ok to take pictures. Saw a Berber village from a distance.. that was it. Confusion amongst the passengers about whether the film studio was or was not in the trip. Driver asked if we wanted to go to Ouarzazate or not (despite it being in the trip description). This didn’t mean visit the town, it meant driving past the film studio. The trip to BenHaddou was nice but would have liked it if we’d been asked if we wanted to cross the river via the sandbag stepping stone route vs the nice easy bridge… We didn’t explore the ancient town itself - just straight to the top and back out which was disappointing. As you would expect from an ancient monument, it’s not perfectly flat inside - be prepared for uneven steps and ground. Don’t wear sandals. Lunch - not a good experience. We were taken into a large restaurant and told we were eating there. No offer of, meet up here later. Again disappointing. Choice is limited. Other passengers said they were incorrectly billed. Suggest you take some snacks or your own lunch with you. Drive home was very fast and we were back about 20.00. Not dropped off at our arranged pick up point and not asked if we were happy to be dropped off elsewhere. . Luckily we had some data left so we could navigate our way back.
Abdul was a great guide, always very helpfull. Has a good knowledge about Marrocco and its history. The trip was very good
