Kendt som "Gateway til Cotswolds" vi stopper i denne charmerende landsby. Vandre i parken kirke, og pop ind i nogle af de charmerende butikker på den maleriske hovedgade.
I hjertet af Cotswolds er Bourton-on-the-water, ofte omtalt som Cotswolds Venedig. Denne fredelige landsby er en lille del af Cotswolds paradis, med sine smukke buede broer og rolige vandreture langs floden, samt en rigdom af attraktioner, er der noget for alle her. Nyd en traditionel frokost eller slap af i de smukke omgivelser.
Beskrevet af digteren William Morris som den smukkeste landsby i England. Floden Coln løber gennem centrum af Bibury og dens hjem til alle former for dyreliv som svaner, ænder og kongefiskere. Besøg den hundrede år gamle Bibury Trout Farm, som skaber ti millioner brune og regnbue ørred hvert år. Men juvelen i kronen er Arlington Row, den mest fotograferede række hytter i landet! It seems more fitting as a small getaway trip from city life . From perspective of an international traveler, it may be underwhelmed
This is a small group tour and has a more local feel to it. This tour visits 3 local Cotswolds villages and our guide on this is very capable and is a tour guide for many years. Sorry to read you were underwhelmed, but maybe the small tour experience is not for you. This is a lovely tour with old world charm and the lived experienced in these villages.
Darren, the guide and driver was great. He shared so much information, not just about our own tour, but other stuff as well. He was friendly and approachable, also a fantastic driver
Lovely people the tourist was very knowledgeable and told us many stories. He was very professional and explained locations
The cities picked were beautiful and great examples of Cotswold villages. Easy walking tour. Driver was knowledgeable but talked a bit much.
Had an enjoyable tour of the Cotswold. Stunning, beautiful scenery. Was a small tour of only 6. Darren our Tour director was very informative & he and Simon ( driver) were friendly and helpful
Excellent way to see and experience the Cotswalds. Our driver/guide Saghir was excellent, charming and full of knowledge. Small bus was comfortable. Just enough time to explore each stop.

Our tour guide Jen was fantastic! She had the right balance of sharing information while also giving us time to relax on the bus too. We were able to see 3 villages in one day. I do wish we could've extended the time in the villages a little bit and maybe arrived back in London a bit later, but I also understand they were trying to avoid traffic. I loved the bus, the small group, the stops on the way there and back, and the driver was fantastic as well. If you're limited on time in London, this is a great option for getting a taste of the Cotswolds.
Pick your days. We booked bankers holiday and each site was very crowded, w/really hot temps so the overall experience was 4*. Saghir mitigated effects w/time adjustments at the villages. A/C is a wonderful thing, being driven, and not worrying about parking. Very glad to do the tour rather than drive. Saghir knew history and highlights of each site and points on the drive - making the whole trip worthwhile. Thank you!
