What an absolute delight this experience was. Orlando and his family are wonderful, and we had such a fun and memorable time milking cows and making cheese together. It was incredibly wholesome and the perfect change of pace from all the hiking we've been doing. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the area. The few hours we spent with Orlando and his family were filled with warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality. In fact, I found myself tearing up on the way home because it was such a heartfelt and meaningful experience. We feel so lucky to have shared this time with them and wish Orlando and his family all the very best. This was truly one of the highlights of our trip through monteverde

Milk a cow, feed a calf, learn about their farm and how they are working on switching to organic products. Then watch and assist while they make cheese, make your own tortilla and then eat your products. A truly great experience. Our children (4 and 6) had a wonderful time, and so did my husband and I. Thank you!

Excellent tour of an organic milk farm tour. Our guide was amazing and had an answer for every question that was asked. We watched how to make cheese and we hand pressed our own tortillas. Local honey and spicey cheese in the gift shop was amazing also. Recommend this tour for anyone. Much appreciated I wish I remembered his name. Happy birthday to him.

From Beaches, Rainforests, and Action Adventures, Costa Rica has a lot of options, but one of the highlights of our family's trip was visiting the Finca El Paraiso Farm. It was an amazing experience to hear about the Vargas family farm and how they are embracing the sustainable way of cattle farming. Their family has been in Monteverde well before it became a tourist hot spot. We were able to learn more about the area, feed and milk the cows. The best part was making and tasting freshly made cheese and tortillas! It was just genuine experience with a wonderful local family!

What a lovely experience!! The groups are kept to 10 people max so the tour feels very intimate. We learned about their farming practices, played with kittens. Fed baby cows (the petted them) and milked a cow. Alejandra was such a lovely host. And we met her dad, brother and aunt. What a lovely lovely family. Would highly recommend. Both the adult and kids were equally happy. Thanks so much for hosting us!

We had an amazing tour with Orlando and Carolina. This tour is perfect for kids that love the outdoors and animals. We were able to learn so much about the history of the farm and adaptations they have had to make to continue to thrive. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone going to Monteverde.

This is a must-see. Very suitable for Adults, kids, and of course, family-oriented. You will learn local history from this third-generation CR dairy farm family. Orlando explains how organic milk and cheese production are helping to make a more sustainable planet. This is an unforgettable, learning yet fun experience. Don't miss out.

We loved this tour. It was fun, friendly and educational. We had 2 adults and a 12 and 14 year old. We all had a blast.

Orlando and his sister Carolina were wonderful hosts for this 2-hour tour. Lovely family farm that really makes you appreciate the freshness of organic farming. We viewed the land, fed baby calf and milked a cow. We made our own cheese and tortillas within 30 minutes and it was delicious. Orlando served us sugar cane water that was so fresh! Highly recommended to make the stop.
