Oplev en aften dedikeret til musik, dans og velsmagende lokal mad under denne kretensiske folklore-aften i Karouzana, en traditionel landsby nær Heraklion. Nyd vin og smag lokale produkter såsom ost, olivenolie og kød under et buffetmåltid. Når du når den gamle landsby efter afhentning, skal du gå gennem dette storslåede sted og opleve de lokales gæstfrihed. I skumringen kan du nyde en traditionel fest. Smag lækre retter med ost, jomfruolivenolie, kød og andre produkter af kretensisk jord. Bliv behandlet med vinen, lyt til lyden af den kretensiske lyra (græsk musikinstrument), og nyd at se på danserne, klædt i deres traditionelle kostumer, der udfører kretensiske og græske folkedanser. Hav det sjovt, mens du stadig føler dig sikker: at spise og drikke vil være individuelt og sterilt som krævet af loven, og tjenere vil bære masker og handsker. Sæderne og bordene vil også have passende afstand i overensstemmelse med lovkrav.<

A long drive, average show, too many people, no conviviality, a mediocre buffet, depending on when you get more food,. I wouldn't recommend it, I wouldn't do it again.
une soirée folklore traditionnelle ne peut pas être dans une ville qui se trouve dans le village de karouzana à 45 minutes d'héraklion, cela dépend de l'endroit où vous séjournez, il y a beaucoup de nourriture au buffet. si vous n'aimez rien à manger, nous ne pouvons rien faire pour cela, car c'est la cuisine crétoise la plus traditionnelle.
I would spend double the money or even triple to not have a 6 hour round trip bus ride, better food and more professional entertainment. It is not the performers fault as they seem young and inexperienced. I think the proper expectations should be set for a more rookie type show with basic foods. They also ran out very quickly and had some frustrated patrons. It’s not worth the time invested though the hosts were excellent.
the total tour was 6.5 hours how you say that you drive 6 hours 19.45 Arrival in Karouzanos 20.00 Starts the program 22.40 End of the program and departure with the bus 00.30 Arrival in Heraklion ROUTE: 50 km DURATION: app. 6 ½ hours STAY IN KAROUZANOS: app. 2 ½ hours
The evening was very enjoyable. Loved hearing the music and seeing the dances from different areas of Greece. Food and wine were delicious and plentiful. Downside to the event was how long it took to get there. My ride was a total of 2.5 hours. I was solo. So with others I'm assuming it would not have felt so long.

A nice evening with Cretan music. The food is simple but good. It is mainly the dancers who make the evening more than worthwhile.

Overall not the best experience. On the positive side the journey up into the mountains to reach our destination was quite spectacular in the evening sun. Food was varied and of good quality. The entertainment was done with skill, enthusiasm and passion and well worth the ticket price. On the negative side the journey time from pickup to destination was nearly 90 minutes and very convoluted. With very narrow lanes and roads you had to admire the drivers handling of his coach. When we arrived at the venue it was at best organised chaos with jam packed tables squeezed into every available space. Our tour guide could have been more helpful at this point rather than just waving at tables to indicate where we could sit. Would I do this trip again? Possibly but I would review other options from other tour operators first.

Great experience. What made us particularly happy was that we were able to swap buses for part of the trip to be in one with our friends. Also otherwise very well organized and punctual. Elafonissi beach was also very nice
