Det er her, vores erfaring starter. Vi mødes på Starbucks. Cinelandia er et område, hvor nogle af de smukkeste bygninger i Rio er placeret. Theatro Municipal, Biblioteca Nacional, Museu Nacional de Artes og de gamle Supremo Tribunal Federal-bygninger.
Her besøger vi den første offentlige park i Latinamerika.
Her besøger vi den verdensberømte Selaron-trappe. Dette fantastiske kunstværk måler 125 meter langt med over 2000 fliser.
Her vil vi se et ingeniørvidunder fra 1700-tallet. Denne vandakvædukt blev brugt til at levere vand til byen og bruges nu af Bondinho de Santa Teresa.
Her vil vi besøge en meget unik og anderledes katedral.
Det kongelige portugisiske læseværelse er et virkelig fantastisk sted, men det kan blive utroligt travlt med lange linjer. Dette kan påvirke, hvor meget tid vi kan tilbringe inde. For at holde vores tur på tidsplan, kan vi måske kun være i stand til at se uden for bygningen.

Klosteret São Bento do Rio de Janeiro er et historisk kloster beliggende på Morro de São Bento, i centrum af byen Rio de Janeiro. Det er et af de vigtigste monumenter for kolonial kunst i byen og på landet.
Vi passerer Mauá Square på vej til den berømte Kobra Graffiti.

Cais do Valongo (Valongo Wharf) er et arkæologisk sted beliggende i havneområdet i Rio de Janeiro, Brasilien. Det har stor historisk og åndelig betydning, da det var det vigtigste landingspunkt og handelscenter for afrikanske slaver, der blev bragt til Brasilien mellem 1811 og 1831.
