Besøg fem top templer på UNESCO World Heritage Site i denne historiske park.
Besøg Wat Lokayasutharam for at se den gigantiske liggende Buddha med 37 meters længde og 8 meter høj. Buddha blev lavet af mursten og cement i kunststil i Mellem Ayutthaya.
Opført af kong U-Thong (den første konge af Ayutthaya) i 1357 e.Kr., Wat Yai Chai Mang Khon var meditationsstedet for munke, der vendte tilbage fra pilgrimsrejser til Sri Lanka. Den store chedi blev bygget i 1592 af kong Naresuan den store for at mindes sin sejr over Burma (nu Myanmar) samme år.
Wat Mahathat, som var berømt for "Bhuddha-hovedet i trærødder", var et af de vigtigste klostre i Ayutthaya Kingdom, ikke kun fordi det var det religiøse centrum og nedfældede relikvier fra Buddha, men også fordi det var et kongeligt kloster.
"Det helligste tempel i den gamle Ayutthaya". Wat Phra Sri Sanphet var det største og smukkeste tempel i hovedstaden, og det fungerede som en model for Wat Phra Kaew (smaragd Buddhas tempel) i Bangkok.
Wat Phu Khao Thong blev bygget i 1569 af Bayinnaung den store af Hantawaddy (nu en del af Myanmar) for at mindes sin sejr over Ayutthaya. Besøgende kan klatre op ad chedi for at se skønheden i de omkringliggende ugeområder og byen Ayutthaya.

Enjoyed our Trip to Ayutthaya Temples. Started with Driver pick up 6.30am from our hotel in an air conditioned comfortable small van total group of 8. With experienced Guide we were taken to 3 sites all significant & stunning on their own. Lunch was local fair & very delicious. I recommend this excellent day out.

We were picked up right on time at our hotel and had a pleasant drive in the van with our group to Ayutthaya. The day we were there, it was unpleasantly warm and humid, but I think it was still worth it. Wear sunscreen. Lunch was great. The ruins were interesting (and sad) and our guide did a good job of explaining the history. I am glad we went with a guide so we could understand better what we were looking at. The ruins are spread out and cover a huge area and multiple sites. I wasn't sure he would, but our guide and driver stopped us right off at our hotel at the end of the tour. It was the night before Songkran, and the water festivities were already on!

Please note that while this tour includes hotel pickup within inner Bangkok areas, the standard drop-off points are MRT Sam Yot or Khaosan Road. If your hotel is located nearby, the van may be able to drop you off directly at your hotel.

I recommend this activity for the following reason: Hotel pick-up highly recommended, and although there's an end drop point, drive and guide go above and beyond by dropping at near to your hotel as possible. Though, return is in Bangkok's intense traffic, I recommend dropping yourself at the nearest MRT or BTS station. Then, each stop is allowed more than enough time to explore with freedom. If you desire more information about what you see, let the guide know, and he will provide you the history. Enjoy

This was a very comprehensive tour. I really enjoyed it. The lunch was great. I’m a vegetarian and they even made me a vegetarian meal. Would definitely recommend.

Guide was very detailed in his history of everything, driver was great also. The only problem was bad information about our pickup time..when we originally booked it, time For pickup was 7.00 am. Then the last 3 emails said it was 6.00am.?we tried to get it resolved, but nobody returned our request. So, we missed breakfast and sat outside at 5.55am,.nobody showed up until 6,50..

We had a really good guide on this trip pick up punctually ,very informative ,knowledgable and polite guide. It's abt an hour and a half there and back to the temples so worth bearing in mind for making arrangements afterwards .Nice lunch provided
