Tag med os på 3 timers roligt og afslappet guidet besøg på øen, blanding af kultur og smukke udsigter, vi vil få mest muligt ud af denne tid sammen, kørende af Monte Brasil, den eneste halvø på øen, Goat Islet, en undervandsvulkan, São Sebastião, det første sted vi befolkede, da vi ankom til øen og Serra do Cume, en af de resterende højdedrag på Azorernes største caldeira! Besøget i Algar do Carvão er valgfrit og afhænger af turens time.

Vi besøger Monte Brasil, der passerer vulkanens krater og når synspunktet til Angra Do Heroísmo by, hvorfra vi kan se historien der flyder gennem byen!
Vi vil køre ved Baía da Salga, hvor vi havde en historisk kamp med spansk, der byggede fæstningen vi vil have besøgt i Monte Brasil
På denne landsby vil vi besøge en af de ældste kirker på øen, samt en Império, et lille kapel dedikeret til Helligånden, et af højdepunkterne i vores kultur
Her ses vi på Azorernes største Caldeira (struktur af en kollapset vulkan), med kun to kamme tilbage, hver adskilt med 7 km!
Valgfri afhænger af rejsetidspunktet, da den kun er åben om eftermiddagen. Det er en tom vulkan, der kun findes 3, besøget er tilgængelig, med trapper hele vejen (ingen elevator). Vi vil besøge strukturen og bevidne sjældne formationer som stalaktitter dannet af silica.

Vi henter fra alle hoteller i Angra do Heroísmo. Ture, der starter i lufthavnen, krydstogtskibe og hoteller i Praia da Vitória, har en ekstra skat.

Paulo was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about Terceira Island. His passion for the rich culture was evident and he was so happy to share it with us. So many amazing views, sites and information. He took us to see where family villages were, even drove to where my grandfather grew up! He made the most of our 1 day on the island! Thanks so much Paulo! I would definitely recommend him.

Ricardo was our driver and guide and he was outstanding! We got way more than our money's worth with him. He took us to the caves, lava tube, and steam vents as well as Duck Lake. The scenery on the way to and from was fantastic too. You really need to see the lava tube and Duck Lake if you are on the island. They were so memorable. Ricardo was super friendly with pleasant conversation and very informative about the island and its history. He is also a firefighter so my husband enjoyed talking to him about that. He was a safe driver and picked us up right at the cruise ship with a sign on his car. We really had the perfect introduction to Terceria and look forward to going back because of him and his beautiful island.
Paulo's low-key island charm was the high point of an excellent tour. He provided us with the benefits of a lifetime spent on the island, and we learned much about the history and traditions of this beautiful island. Met us at cruise terminal and was easy to find. Highly recommended.
