Super informative and fun tour of beautiful Vienna. The extra small group size was wonderful. Took tour with my 18 year-old granddaughter. Saw beautiful sites, was able to ask many personalized questions and really get to know guide and fellow guests. The weather was fairly warm and we did have a group that didn't seem to want to be there who left the tour without word about 1/2 way through. Although it caused some temporary confusion, it resulted in a much lighter and personalized experience. Guide is extremely interactive, informative, and has a quick wit which we loved. If you want a dry, read from a script experience, I recommend a different tour. If you want to feel like you walked through the city with a local friend, this is your tour. Beautiful sites and we did fall in love with Vienna on this warm summer afternoon tour.

I would not recommend choosing this excursion due to reliability reasons. Otherwise, I have had good luck on most all of the excursions through Trip Advisor. The cancellation notice was about 27 hours in advance but without any reason. Being on the go I didn’t realize it until the morning of before heading out.
A reliability issue would have been not to get a refund on a cancelled tour, which is not the case. The guest and the agent can cancel the activity up to 24 hours before the activity takes place. Within 27 hours you have enough time to find another activity and you did not even ask us for a suggestion, we could have given you an alternative.
Really informative small group tour and well worth booking. Lots of great ideas about where ( and where not) to spend time during your visit to Vienna.

I had the pleasure to join a small group of 8 people visiting the city from different countries. I appreciate the time the guide took to explain to us the history of each place in a comprehensive way. We stopped for some strudel and great coffee on the way at the Cafe Landtmann. Must do experience!

Visiting Vienna at Christmas can be a challenge with crowds in the streets! We were lucky we booked this tour, our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. She knew the way to avoid the crowds and took us to plenty of places in a few hours. We also had the chance to eat and drink something at the big Christmas market in front of the city hall. Great overall experience and excellent value!

I didn't learn very much, so much so that we had to take a hope on hop off bus afterwards. Unremarkable that a month later I can't remember anything about it.
Dear stranger thank you for your review! Unfortunately we cannot find your name in our customers list, so we are sure this is why you cannot remember anything about a tour you did not do. The information we provide during the tour covers all history of Vienna from 2000 years ago until today, plus we visit 25 spots in the historical city center.
It says small group tour, not more than 15. There were 17 total in the group. The guide was knowledgeable, but often hard to hear and understand given the crowds and size of the group.
When you visit Vienna at its highest season you should be happy with 17 participants. We try to cover the high demand. Some groups have 40 and 50 participants. Try to be thankful instead of ungrateful, it would be a positive way to view life.
