Open even on Sundays. A gem not to be missed. An audiovisual journey through time that is very educational and informative. An excellent tasting that makes you want to buy their products in their beautiful store.
The visit is straightforward, it is done through several videos. This is not the real distillery. It was nice with the tasting, but the price of the visit is high. The welcome was very good, but when you don't buy anything in the shop, the smile disappears and the tone becomes dry. Really a shame.
A little relaxing visit that was both informative and sensory, ideal for discovering the history of this distillery and the world of calvados, while having a great time. The images, sounds, and settings transport us from beginning to end. The tasting at the end of the visit is the cherry... or rather the apple on the cake! 🍏 Highly recommended without hesitation!
This tour was the perfect way of showing how Calvados is produced. Very interesting and informative.
This was a random choice that turned out brilliantly! The staff were very friendly and welcoming, it was the middle of a hot day and we were the only visitors. You walk through a number of rooms, each with a video presentation taking you through the history of the area, Père Magloire himself and the development of calvados. There are also scents, movements and sounds taking you right into the heart of the action. It finishes with very generous tasting of a number of products. I would love to go back!
A very warm welcome followed by an exceptional visit that leaves a lasting impression. To conclude, a tasting in a magnificent setting with good explanations provided by a very friendly and available person. No hard selling, everything is truly perfect.
Too expensive for the visit, which consists only of taking photos... regrets!!!
The audio/video tour is very informative. We tell you a beautiful story about the origin of the calvados, much loved! I thought I'd visit the distillery. I didn't. End of the tour with a calvados tasting and shop. I found the products and entry too expensive!
