Fordyb dig i det autentiske live af Dao Tien people 2D1N

Beskrivelse

The absolute highlight of our time in Vietnam. Our family (children aged 11, 13 & 15) spent a week in the welcoming company of our tour guide and host family. An authentic cultural experience, full of delicious food, traditional experiences and plenty of time to be immersed in the jungle. A trip not to be rushed, but to be savoured. Thank you CBT and the family of Dao House for your generosity, kindness and hospitality.
A fabulous two-day experience in this village. Everything was perfect and the shock of discovery intact. The quality guide with perfect English was able to be an effective interpreter and explain to us several things about the customs of this village. We highly recommend that those who want to discover another Vietnam live this experience.
Going to Sung Village was the highlight of my stay in Vietnam. We live a world where the tourism culture is having a huge impact on local communities, and it's shaping the landscape in such a negative way. So when I came across the Da Bac tours, it was a no-brainer. I spent time with people who shared so much of their culture with such generosity. I learned how to cook, make paper with plants from the forest, how to write in their local language, how to create indigo wax textiles and so much more... if you are looking to meet people in a profound way and not stay in the surface, this is a tour for you. I recommend this to anyone who wants to experience Vietnam in a respectful and truthful way.
My friend and I had an amazing time and a unique experience in Sung village. We slept 1 night at Tien Tu homestay and it was perfect, the room is nicely decorated and very comfortable (large soft bed, private bathroom with hot shower, great cleanliness...), the meals are delicious. The family welcomed us with kindness, while respecting our privacy, the shared moments were warm and in simplicity, I felt very comfortable. We contacted the CBT organisation who organised everything, with a private car transfer, as well as the services of a Quang guide/translator and several activities that allowed us to discover the daily life and the many unique skills of the village. The activities are top, interactive, in addition you leave with a homemade souvenir. I was touched by the welcome we received and the pleasure of the locals to share their knowledge. Quang was perfect, he shared his own enthusiasm without flooding us with information. His knowledge of the village and the complicity he shares with the locals contribute to the beautiful atmosphere of this stay. We recommend 100%
I stayed for 3 nights at Homestay Xuan Lan and was warmly welcomed. The first two nights I was alone on site and it took care of me touchingly.:) On the 2nd and 3rd. More guests arrived on the day and we did various workshops/activities with Quang, the English speaking guide. Without exception, all workshops were super informative and it was great to get to know the culture with the group, Quang and the locals :) I can highly recommend this to anyone who wants to get to know the Dao-tien culture authentically and sustainably. The organization through Huyen worked very well, the communication with the host family also always worked well through Google Translate and Quang guided us through Xom Sung with heart. The local handicrafts are wonderful - and can also be purchased locally.:-) Nature is beautiful and invites you to explore 🙂
It was simply awesome — such a great experience. We got to know so many people from the village and our hosts very just lovely. If you are interested in learning about the arts and ways of life of a minority people, this is for you. The transfer from Hanoi was also very well organized.
This was an amazing experience and I can’t recommend it highly enough. We’ve just spent 2 nights / 3 days in Sung Village, and it’s just been wonderful. Staying with Tien and her lovely family of 3 generations, and meeting and spending time with many of the local villagers. Tien’s home stay is the real deal, but they’ve converted a small area of their house into a gorgeous private space, with queen bed, fireplace, sitting area and bathroom, complete with hot shower. We’ve eaten meals with the family (such fresh yummy food!) and hung out by their fire. We’ve had so many inspiring and educational experiences while here, including making traditional Do paper, traditional indigo dyeing with beeswax art, having a try at the local written script, herbal bath, and this morning they are giving us a cooking lesson! The Dao Tien people are a minority group that lives fairly isolated lives in a mountainous area, and it’s just so incredible to have the chance to be part of it for a few days. Part of the package is an English translator, and ours (Mr Quang) has been so helpful. It will cost slightly more than just staying in a town for a few days but you can’t put a price on the range of experiences and also the chance to invest in a poorer population. It’s definitely “feel good” and authentic tourism that you won’t find elsewhere! You will be comfortable, well fed, and inspired.
An incredibly enriching experience to immerse ourselves in the local culture. We experienced beeswax printing, calligraphy, paper making, local cooking and hiking around the village. The accommodation and food were excellent.
I had an absolutely incredible time in this small village, surrounded by very kind people. I have tasted many delicious and typically local dishes, prepared with love. The moments spent with them, around the fire and with the cats, sharing good meals, will remain etched in my memory. I had the chance to visit the village, discover the medicinal plants, their cave and the surrounding nature. I even worked a day with them in the rice fields — an unforgettable experience and one of the most beautiful of my trip! I also participated in a very rewarding indigo workshop, as well as another craft paper workshop. These activities allow you to fully immerse yourself in the local culture and experience unique moments. I recommend this place 100% 🌿 Consider taking a local package: I had no internet connection, and we laughed a lot when communicating via Google Translation 😂 A huge thank you to the whole family for their warm and sincere Welcoming. The lady with whom I was in contact was a great help: she booked me my transports and did everything to make my stay go perfectly. It was a deeply authentic experience, far from mass tourism. Time seems to stop in this village... and that’s what makes it so charming. 💚
We stayed 2 nights at Sung Village, in Ms Tien's house. Ms Tien and her family are very nice hosts. We really felt at home. The rooms was very nice. The food so good! Our kids played together. We did the indigo dyeing workshop and the paper workshop, and we loved the experience. We also did a short trek to see a beautiful cave. It was great to get to know a bit of the Dao culture. It has been a great off the tracks experience!
