Honestly, this was the highlight of my trip. Poppy was such a legend super easygoing and kept everything stress-free. We spent some time at the train market, which was wild, and then hopped on a private boat at the floating market. Gliding through the canals with a drink in hand was just pure vibes. If you’re looking for a fun day out without the headache of planning, go with Poppy!

The guide was very friendly, informative and helpful. He made sure that we were helped going up and down the vehicle and made the necessary toilet stops. He spoke good English and we understood him.
We booked the Premium Floating Market & Train Market tour and it was a great day out. The pickup was super convenient, right from our hotel, and the car was clean and had strong A/C, which was a huge plus in this heat. Our guide, Poppy, was fantastic. She was really friendly and made us feel welcome right away. She really knew her way around the Maeklong Railway Market and showed us the best spots to watch the train go by without it feeling chaotic. Having a private boat for the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market was definitely the right move—it was much more relaxed being able to go at our own pace instead of being stuck in a crowded boat. Poppy was great about pointing out good local snacks too. We tried some really tasty mango sticky rice and coconut ice cream. She also helped us out with some shopping and made sure we always had water. Definitely recommend this tour if you're looking for an easy, well-organized day trip.
We visited both the Railway Market and the Floating Market with Poppy, and it was the highlight of our group trip. Seeing the train come through the market is just as wild as you see in the videos! Poppy was fantastic she made sure we were in the perfect spots to see everything safely. Afterward, we spent hours eating our way through the Floating Market. I picked up some really cool handcrafted wooden bowls and a ton of local snacks. Poppy really knew all the best stalls to try. If you're coming to Bangkok, just do this.
We had such a fun day seeing the most unusual train market and floating market. We chose the private tour for time efficiency as we needed to be back by a certain time for suit fitting. It was perfect as they picked up only us at our hotel and we were quicker than with a larger group. The van was very comfortable, they had plenty of cold water for us, they were able to be flexible and accommodating with our interests. Our guide Poppy was so knowledgeable and informative, and so helpful with bargaining, shopping, getting us good seats on the train and everything throughout the day. Also really enjoyed the coconut ice cream and mango sticky rice treats as we were boating around the canals. The traffic made our return a bit tight and they were kind enough to drop us off directly at the tailor’s. Highly recommend for a stress free enjoyable day of seeing these popular sights!
Poppy was an excellent guide—the best we’ve had across many trips. Everything exceeded our expectations: her attentiveness, the locations, and the way she guided us to make the absolute most of every market—without missing a single important detail. Such a fun day out exploring the markets. The canal boat ride at Damnoen Saduak was beautiful and full of color. Poppy was an awesome guide, always smiling and keeping the atmosphere light and happy. Poppy treated us to wonderful mango sticky rice, and also made sure to get traditional Thai desserts for those who wanted a different treat. Poppy is a brilliant guide!
Watching the train pass right through the stalls at the Railway Market was absolutely thrilling. The Damnoen Saduak Floating Market was such a fun experience too, especially the boat ride along the canals. Poppy was an amazing guide, incredibly friendly and attentive to everyone. Poppy even treated our group to some delicious coconut ice cream, and for those who preferred a different option, Poppy thoughtfully got them traditional Thai desserts instead. The transportation was excellent as the van was spotless and the driver did a wonderful job driving so safely. Thank you Poppy for a fantastic day!
