Although mentioned as a reserved time slot, we still had to wait for an hour to enter. Audio guide was oke, nothing crazy special

Beautiful on the outside, but the inside we didn't see anything. Once we were properly dressed and received audio tour (which we had to listen to with our own phone, because they only had the tour on a recorder in English and we wanted to listen to it in Dutch) we were put somewhere in the middle of the regular line. We were under the impression that we would end up in a separate queue, because that is what it says when booking the audio tour. Not the regular line where we would have had to wait for at least 1 to 1.5 hours. We left the line then. It's too bad. I would have liked to see it, but not when I have to wait in line for so long.
We would like to clarify that our product is not a skip-the-line ticket. As stated in the product description, all visitors must pass through the Cathedral's mandatory security screening, and waiting times can vary depending on the number of visitors and decisions made by the Cathedral authorities. Regarding the audio guide, we provide it through a mobile app in multiple languages, including Dutch, which is why it is intended to be used on guests' own smartphones with personal earphones. We understand your disappointment about the queue and regret that you decided to leave before entering the Cathedral. Buyer beware: make sure you read what is included. The quick entry means nothing with this tour. We spent 20 minutes with the group waiting for everyone to get check in and instead of going to a reserved entry line we ended up at the very end of the line. After 1/2 hr we hadn’t even gotten half way through the line. We ended up leaving the tour because we only had 5 hrs to spend in Florence and want to see other things

Must if been 1000 people waiting in line. Save your money and buy yourself a Gelato. Never got to see the inside. Very Disappointed.

When we arrived at the specified time there was no representative of Viator - we tried to contact them but they did not reply - eventually a lady arrived and took our ticket details. We were told to wait - I was slightly worried as our ticket to enter was 9:20 then at 9:35 the tour guide arrived an the group then went and stood in the already long queue. The guide then told us that it didn't open till 10:15 - so there was no reserved entry you just stood in the queue with everyone else which is not clearly explained in the advertising of the tour. Our Guide Julio was fun and kept us entertained and was very knowledgeable about the Duomo and local area

No point to this guided tour because the guide spoke English, and we were French. We were given a web link for audio in French... might as well do it alone without a guide, it would have amounted to the same thing. Very disappointed!

Queue was far too long when you’ve reserved a ticket , it wasn’t explained you still needed to queue as others who hadn’t prepaid!

The church is much more impressive from the outside than from the inside; we stood in line for a long time and only received an AI guide. Not a must.

Read the description. Thought this was a skip the line!! We waited in the queue with the guide for 30 minutes and only moved 50 metres. It would probably have taken another hour to get to the front door. We gave up as we had another booking to get to. Will have to come back and definitely buy a skip the line ticket.
